Hi, Frank, so ... as well as all the other stuff going on today ... the mouse on my laptop just suddenly vanished!
Do you have any suggestions in response?
Thanks. If you use a wired mouse unplug it from your computer and plug it back in, or even into a different USB port. For a wireless mouse, remove the accessory from the USB port and turn off the mouse, then plug it back in, wait a minute, then turn it on again.
If you use the touchpad, a simple restart mostly solves this problem.

Computers suck so much, Frank! Anyway, I've got a HP laptop and its stuck in a loading loop. So, sometimes it just says, 'please wait.' And then other times it says, 'repairing your pc.' Or something like that. I've searched a bunch of videos online and they're not very helpful. I've had a lot of issues with this laptop as this is the same laptop; I'm convinced it was all related to a system update as of late.
I was wanting to do a full reset of the pc, but F11 doesn't even work.
Another computer that will have to be taken to the shop.

Another computer that will have to be taken to the shop. Not happy with my HP, either. It often starts, as if it disabled the fast startup itself.
Restart the computer Hold down the Shift key and turn it on, after the third time it should show the Troubleshooting Menu.

Restart the computer Hold down the Shift key and turn it on, after the third time it should show the Troubleshooting Menu. Did the shift and it didn't get me to the troubleshooting menu. I even did F11 and that didn't get me to the troubleshooting menu. It just kept saying, 'please wait' or 'automatic repair'. You couldn't make it up.
For some reason I am able to get into a system diagnostic, and then system configuration, do a drive check, but according to that, my laptop is good. Obviously not if it won't even start up.
Honestly, definitely moving to a different provider next time I buy a laptop as I've has so many issues with HP laptops in the past. They really don't seem to do well with any kind of update.

Turn the laptop off. Poweer it back on, and as soon as you press the power-on button, immediately begin hitting the Esc button, before any logo appears. Just keep hitting it, til the Start Up menue appers.
Choose F2 to open System Diagnostics. Follow the on-screen instructions to perform System Test >> Quick test.

Thanks. Lenovo Thinkpads, and Dell Laptops are the most reliable laptops i know.
I’m guessing that you don’t use it for heavy gaming.
