Go to Start , then select Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard,
and turn on the On-Screen Keyboard toggle.

I tend to be heavy handed with cleaners and cleaning (you guys know I'm sort of ocd'ish  )...and I am kinda paranoid about cleaning the laptop/keyboard/screen with anything liquid...what I do is get a clean mirofiber cloth and just get it barely damp with some windex and wipe it down gently...I'm always worried about any liquids getting down into the contraptions, and try not to do it unless I absolutely have to. Is this okay to do, Commander osnafrank ?
....I always have a side table beside me to set drinks on, and keep them away from the desks/tables i set up my laptop on...electrician mentality. 🙄
(i hate my stuff getting dirty...and damnit...sneezes, laughing so hard you splutter your drink, and "Cats" HAPPEN! smilie_wut_086 ) |

I always use a soft brush to wipe the dust from the keyboard.
You can also use a rubber dust blower (or similar) to blow out anything stuck in the keys.
For the scree, just use a microfiber cloth to remove the dust.
Use another clean microfiber cloth with a small amount of 70%+ Isopropyl Alcohol or a 70%+ alcohol cleaning wipe, to remove smudges. |
