I don't see many suggestions so I'll throw a couple out:
At a large family gathering a Santa is hired to visit the Christmas Eve celebration and hand out gifts because there are a lot of kids present. But little do they the Santa they hired is part of a Satanic cult, and it's sacrifice time!
It's the weekend before Christmas and the neighborhood is throwing a Xmas party in a very large Victorian mansion, and the kids will be playing a game of hide and seek wearing their Halloween Costumes. But unknown to everyone there is an extra kid, or entity, in the mix.

LOL… to make wolf’s life more difficult with having to track down Story ideas: 
The ghost that visited Ebenezer Scrooge that Charles Dickens was too frightened to mention... The Ghost of Christmas Time, which allowed him to change something of his past and see how it plays out. But no matter what he choose it is so much worse than his actual life right now. It doesn't have to be Scrooge, but someone merely visited by the Ghost of Christmas Time.
(each chapter or two chapters is a situation from the past)

Okay... Gentlemen, we shall use this writer's thread until Commander osnafrank sets up new digs in our 'Christmas story writer's thread'. 😊
Ideas for the 2021 Christmas Story we have so far :
1. I’m thinking about a story of a group of male writers who are held captive by a tyrannical woman taskmaster who forces them to churn out story after story for her own devious pleasure... and how they make their escape on Christmas by spiking her eggnog. - diobolic
2. Christmas is coming....kids suddenly begin waking up in the morning screaming because they are inexplicably missing body parts...fingers...toes....arm!...a leg!...no one can figure out how, the kids might remember having bad dreams but don't have any actual memories....SANTA CLAUS finds out what is going on! AND HE GETS PISSED!!!!....finds out who the culprit is and hunts him down!.....and when he gets him...he drags him behind his sleigh to some dark goblin/ghoul like creatures and they eat him alive making him watch as they cut one part of him off at a time, and roast them over an open fire! And they bleed him slowly, and he has to watch them drink his stuff in Bloody Mary's! And Santa's magic gets all the kids their missing body parts back on Christmas EVE!...They wake up to Christmas miracles for them on Christmas Day.
(I'm thinking maybe a Wicked Jack Frost type character)
And .....we might could think about
'another part of Colewall'...for the setting/place.
No werewolves for sure....but...maybe?....we could have cameos by Jeremiah and Julia?...if not full roles to play? - Wolf
3. A story about a Christmas ghoul of some kind.
Terrorizing in the night some sort of way.
......And a hero, tough Santa. - Wolf
4. A story about an ordinary old woman (or ANY person, doing similar things that she is doing)
who underneath is really evil...and she is baking and cooking things
for neighbors and friends, and is secretly poisoning them for some wicked reason.
She doesn't have to be crazy (that's been done to death, I think)...just mean and rotten and icky. (Just in case y'all want to do a story, that is not deeply rooted in the supernatural) - Wolf
5. New story idea:
Santa Claus is enlisted by George Washington to distribute silver tipped bullets to patriots all across the country in response to rumours of the British Army recruiting werewolves to help turn the war against the revolutionaries. - edwardjohn
6. A dystopian world in which Santa really exists. And it is ruled by the corrupt Naughty and Nice Police. On Christmas, in each town, they publicly announce if you will be punished or rewarded for the following year. Follow a group of people fighting against the tyrant Santa regime during the Christmas holiday season. - Dio
