Hi Brian - so far I have had a relatively busy day - made a loaf of bread which is baking right now;
had the plumber in to look at the upstairs toilet. He used his heavy duty auger and managed to get it flushing properly again, but he is ordering a much better toilet for us. Guess it will cost over $500 not including labour, but I think it will be worth it.
Apparently this is a different style than the one we have (he suggested a Caroma?) I trust this plumber so I hope he is right that the new one will be less likely to get plugged up (yuk) Hi neesy, how did the bread turn out? Plumbers are the same here, they cost an arm and a leg. I finished a baby quilt today. Terrible picture for a cute blanket.  Nice blanket! (I had to look up the name "Brevyn")

Have to go to the doctor today. Its an adventure to get there, 3 buses each way, takes about an hour and 20 minutes each way. Taking my umbrella with me.

I think I did pretty well, compared to some visits. Have a surgery date for April. Did have one for end of Feb., but cancelled it. Going to just have to suck it up and get it done. I have a major phobia for hospitals and it gets the better of me sometimes. Hope the surgery isn't too invasive Alexandra, sending you continued L&L and positive vibes. |

We are cleaning and decluttering our main floor right now.
Andy is operating the noisiest shredder in the world so I cannot stay on the computer that long.
Will try to get on here tomorrow in the morning (today was Tai Chi and Bowling)

What I did today/yesterday is possibly break my nose. So stupid. Bent down in the dark for my slippers and smashed the bridge of my nose on a metal chair. So much blood. Disgusting. Been icing it with a bag of frozen peas off and on for hours. Sure hope it's not broken. I am a certified spazz.

Has the swelling gone down? neesy might be able to give you some advice on how to treat it, she has a medical background in the military I think. |
