Long weekend for me which started yesterday. We're still having a heatwave here, so I did all my errands and was back by 10 AM...and the temp was already 80 degrees. By afternoon it was 95. Today is not supposed to be quite so bad, and there's a better chance of what a cousin of mine calls "ickbooms and zappy stuff". Bring it on!
I have no shortage of chores to be tackled around the home front, and of course I have my nice chonky bonkbuster to sustain me when I want a recliner break. Plus MM tomorrow, Saturday night game time with the guild, and general relaxing. I'm ready for it!

Went To My Speech Therapy Class An Then Just Chill With My Husband An Kids Some Of Who Go Back To School Tommorow. Now I Just Reading A Book An Chillin With My Daughter Celeste By Me.

Well, I was going to finish up my bit in the board Christmas story, but I have company of my own incoming. I'm not particularly in the mood for company anyway with my allergies going nuts, but sometimes it doesn't matter how much you telegraph those details...they ain't gonna listen. *grumble*
Ah, well, lemme go sweep the floor and throw the cat out of the recliner...

Lol, I don’t answer the door unless it’s my kids, and they don’t even have to wait for me to, they can just walk in whenever they want to. 😄
I’m lucky, there’s not really anyone left to bother me.
The good neighbors moved away, and there’s been 2 deaths on the street over the past few years. One was a mercy. The other was one of those, ‘ohthankgod, about time’, instances. There’s evil FBU’s everywhere you know. 😂
Terrible how maladies seems to bring so many things to screeching, grinding halt.
Poor Dizzy is plagued with the flu again too! I hope you and Tanith get to feeling better soon, sis.
That reminds me, I hope neesy and family are okay. Been worried about her husband Andy, and Josh. kingfamilyfan too. 💔🙏

Today Iam Just Chillin With My Family Including My Sister An Her Kids Who Up Here From New York. Im About To Read A Book I Almost Done With Called The King Of Plagues By Jonathan Maberry. It The 3rd Joe Ledger Books. This 1 Part In The Book Highly Disturb Me Tho TBH. My Daughter Has Her Friend Over That She Grew Up With An He A Good Kid. My Son Playin His Video Games RN An My Youngest Is With Me Like Usual. My Husband Lifting Weights RN He Do That Alot Lol.

LOL...how to describe this "Sunday morning visiting" situation sanely?
Well, a decade or two ago, when my grandparents and dad were still living my uncle (Dad's brother) and his wife and Dad and I would go spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa every Sunday morning, until they left for church. When Grandpa passed we continued this practice.
Then over the years Grandma passed, my aunt passed, then Dad passed. My uncle still likes to do Sunday morning visiting, so he just comes up here now. Like me, he's a Doctor Who fan, of a similar political mindset, and not particularly interested in organized religion. I also know he's lonely and not in the best of health. I keep wishing he'd sell his place (in a neighborhood that's deteriorating rapidly) and go live with his daughter in Kentucky. She keeps pressing him to do this, but he's stubborn.
Anyway, that's the short version of the story. We're the last two of the "Sunday morning visiting" crew.
