I am critter sitting for my mom today and overnight. Doing some light cleaning/laundry and I might make some easy Christmas cookies later. (I'm not really a holiday person  ).
Just hoping to get some rest tonight. That's difficult enough when things are "normal." My mom's poor dog has been in front of the door and whining for her. She is so sad. The forlorn look in her eyes would break your heart.

Did some more reading, folded some laundry from last night, started more laundry. Got the rest of the presents wrapped. Son went shopping today so I still need to wrap up his gifts that he bought. 🙄🙄 If he was not at work, I'd give him a lesson in wrapping! 🤣😉
Just going to relax in between laundry loads and watch some tv now. Cooked early so that is done too. Maybe read some more in a while.

Been out all morning shopping, hit the city centre first thing, and got a few things then stopped off at a supermarket for the Christmas day vegetables and assorted goodies, got staff discount because our daughter works at one of their branches, then with vouchers we saved about €40. Just have to collect the turkey from our local supermarket in the morning and we're set.

Or some very nice islands.
I have never been to Ireland but i think it is a beautiful country.

You can see all kind of ships in Hamburg but especially big container and cruise ships.
