Had a visit from my nurse yesterday. No good news. The toxins are making me swell up, and my blood pressure is up. My breathing is the hardest problem. I can walk from my desk to the couch, and be out of breath.She said I am really delining now. a054 |

Did some much needed floor scrubbing today, 1 more left to do. Noticed those high winds earlier today blew lots of leaves off the trees. In an hour
or so I am going to collect a bunch and see if I can get some better Fall pics. Need more than 1 pic for the cards. Hopefully the rain will stop soon.

Today I'm going out shopping for a few items plus driving across town to my hairdressers for a trim.
On Saturday I went to donate blood and  my hemoglobin was finally high enough for them to accept me. I had had problems with low blood iron and they kept turning me down.
There's only a light dusting of snow out there but I will leave early - people are still driving like maniacs and there have been a few accidents already since yesterday.

I am looking after a neighbour's dog today, gosh she is a great dog. So well behaved and quiet. So I am going to make cornbread and my daughter in Vancouver sent me home with a few dresses for handwashing and stain removal. Finally doing those. Oh, what we do for our kids, no matter what age.
That will be my day plus taking the dog out and for a walk of course.

I ended my cell phone contract and negotiated a better deal with a different carrier. I'm gonna be saving $360 per year. Not bad.

I'm home sick today. Finally felt somewhat human after a long, boiling hot shower. Doing laundry and baking pumpkin bread. Exciting stuff.

Not sure what the plan is for today, dropped my daughter into work earlier and home now watching tv, I'm meant to paint the ceiling and walls in the hall stairs and landing but can't muster the enthusiasm for it at the moment, just too tired I guess.

Glad to see you back neesy, hope all is good with you. Thanks - we had a few things happening around here lately - internet and TV connection went down; I was not well; Josh's left toe got infected where the nail had been removed etc.
On top of all this I haven't seen any birds at the feeder which is quite upsetting to me. (I know - this sounds trivial but I really like birds)
It has been strange weather - after that big dump of heavy wet snow things have gone back to normal weather-wise but it is weird to see most of the trees still have their leaves on them.
I wish the birds would come back or even that one persistent squirrel who was trying to make a nest in our balcony.
Andy "fixed his wagon" by closing up the hole where he had been scratching away, on the balcony outside of our bedroom.
I never thought I would say that I miss a squirrel! 
Sorry I missed your birthday too (I haven't been over at SKMB either since the end of October).

You've had a few woes neesy, sorry to hear that. Hope all will get back to normal for you soon. Have you tried leaving out a mealworm block or mealworm pellets at your bird feeding area? I use them here and the birds devour them, it might entice your absent birds back. |
