cat I spent my day cleaning too !! I didn't get to the inside of the cupboards but I desperately need to. Got the kitchen, living room and dining clean, top to bottom. Wiped ceilings, walls, baseboards, dusted, vacuumed, fluffed cushions. I'm beat! Fall Cleaning! I rarely get to Spring Cleaning - Sept/Oct are my big cleaning months. I need to get the front and back stair cases done this week. Having 2 dogs and carpet on the stairs is just a mess. And my front door - there's spiderwebs everywhere. I want to paint my front door. I wish I could be brave and do bright pink like DanaJean did.
pegasus216 - I meant to say "Hey" in the Ka-Tet Cantina!! I'm sorry. That's fun that the dog gets to swim before you close the pool down. Our YMCA does the same thing - everyone takes their dogs on Aug 31st to swim. I wish you could go to the Pow-Wow - does anyone post it online on Youtube? Maybe you can watch it. I think of you often! You are strong and amazing and brave.
Today I have also been trying to find some kitchen rugs - mine are kaput. But there are so many choices - Amazon and Wayfair are killing me. I love online shopping though. I'm going to paint my kitchen soon. Need some rugs to go with. At least the kitchen is clean. I think I'm going to do something green in the kitchen. It's been so boring. Or maybe blue? These ones are kind of cute:
I bought two big T-bone steaks last night and now I am trying to find a good recipe to use them up in. I would throw them on the grill but Andy cannot chew the steaks properly since his mouth surgery.
Maybe I will find something that can be done in the slow cooker.

Today I went to B&N thinking that The Institute came out this past Tuesday. Wrong! It's next week. Not sure where my head is lately. *Sigh* Good news is I have something to look forward to next week.

Just after 2am here, I'm just back in from collecting my daughter from her night out, she was hungry so we stopped off to get a MacD's on the way home and we sat having a chat at the kitchen table while we ate, she's just gone to bed now as she's up for work in a few hours. I'm heading to bed now myself, been a long day, good night Ka-tet .

The only thing I have planned is to call Bell at 8 a.m. as soon as they open.
Seems we ran out of data and now I have to call before they start charging us an arm and a leg just to use our phones.
We pay enough already as it is!

neesy Those are really pretty kitchen rugs! I found some just yesterday - on Amazon with my Chase Amazon points. I charge my life away on Chase Amazon every month, but pay it off promptly and get about $40 a month in freebies. It's so much fun. I went with a multi colored stripey thing. Living room is red mostly. I'm not sure what the kitchen is going to be. Once the Ogre is all settled into his football coma, I'll start painting. It'll be spring before he notices. I'm partial to pink these days. How about a rose gold kitchen?
morgan - (((((you and your momma))))) I hope things look better today. I think of you all the time.
I too am looking forward to The Institute. Cannot wait!!!! I will buy that one new, hot off the presses.
Wow - it's late. But I just got started!!
I'm glad Monday's over. It's all downhill from here!!
