I hope to hear tomorrow (lol, yours or mine) that you had a good trip into town, and that you managed to get that box set. I liked that show very much. We have had it here, aired on PBS. But it was titled "Good Neighbors". Penelope Keith is a highly entertaining actresses and comedienne. The whole cast was extremely talented. But Margo had some of the most hilarious little storylines. The trip went like clockwork, plenty of folks on the bus heading into town for the march, good natured vibes prevalent. The bus stopped directly across from the shop so I had the box set within 5 minutes, then I spent another 30 minutes seeing if there was anything else worth buying. Popped into a record store in the msrket arcade next door and picked up a second hand cd by Corrosion Of Conformity, when I came out I could hear a lot of activity going on just down the road so I figured it was time to head home, arrived back home by 11.30 so I was there and back in just over 2 hours. I love the show, it's on the comedy channel occasionally but I never get a chance to watch it. I agree Wolf, Penelope was fantastic in it, she was snooty but lovable beause of it.

Having breakfast, tea and toast. Plan for today is to scoot into the city centre to a shop called Cex which sell second hand games/laptops/phones/accessories/dvd/bluray, I saw online they had the box set of the old 70's show The Good Life which I really want to get, the Dublin LGBTQ Pride March is on today so there'll be roads closed and diversions set up from early this morning so my best bet is to leave the car at home and get the bus in and grab the box set and bus it back home before the place gets too chaotic. Have you heard of a series called "Still Game"? We used to watch it when I was over in Scotland. It's pretty funny
No neesy that show isn't ringing any bells with me, can't remember ever seeing it, I must look on youtube for some clips to see if it jogs my memory, the only Scottish themed comedy show I can remember watching was Rab C. Nesbitt, thought that one was pretty good.

Waiting outside my daughter's work waiting for her to finish. Once we're home we'll have a bite to eat and maybe watch a movie.

Ooooh - I just found out that that is a mountain in Ireland - so you were hill walking then? That is even more challenging - good for you!

Yes a bit sore neesy, didn't help that I did a few lunges on the way up, not too clever of me in hindsight.

Just sitting down for a cup of tea for lunch. Hi Notaro - it's 9:30 a.m. here - went out to water the plants a bit, had a cup of decaf coffee and a toast with some peanut butter.
Is peanut butter very popular where you are? I noted while in Scotland way back in 2005 that it was hard to find any good peanut butter there. Of course this was a small island off the west coast of Scotland so they didn't have a lot of big stores there.
I think (after reading your post) that I'll make some nice Lady Grey tea and have a second piece of toast
