THAT is very cool, More power to them! I miss our old Drive In's. There’s a Drive-In theater about 3 miles down the road from where I live, but they show all the new releases and have 2 screens. It’s been operating since 1946. Their homemade pierogies and funnel cake are to die for, and make cotton candy on site. We do love our nostalgia around these parts. And that is a very good thing! There are definitely some old places and things that need to be preserved, loved and taken care of. I'm lookin' all over the place too. VENICE! stop that sinkin' dammit.

I bought this one for Andy as a reward - he had done quite a bit of work outside (this was before the surgery)
(Don't forget to clicky on the pic to make it bigger - by the way - you can see my Hooters mouse pad!) it's in the bottom right hand corner

Hey spideyman - any idea if this stitch can be used to crochet squares? I like to do those as they are small and can be a portable project to take with you anywhere, then sew together later into a blanket or afghan.
Enjoy the crocheting - it's supposed to be good for the brain!
I just realized this little guy is knitting, not crocheting
Speaking of reading I finally got around to reading "The Long Walk" by Richard Bachman yesterday - Wow!
I think I will change my answer in the Weekly Survey - in that I said 'sure - why not?' when the question was whether or not I could do a "Long Walk". Now having read the book, I think I will change my answer to "No way in Hell!"

It is a very basic stitch and you the foundation as many as you desire as long as an even #. Then you make the rows , again as many as you desire, so yes, you can make it a square- as small or large as you desire. I am using up my scrap yarns so made a foundation of 28 sc for a scarf, and am changing color every 4/rows repeating after 4 colors. Here is the link use the pictures to guide you. mycrochetory.com/crochet-the-moss-stitch-tutorial/

I fell asleep upstairs in our bed last night and when I came downstairs this morning I was surprised to see Andy sleeping in his reclining LazyBoy chair. He was watching a Bones marathon and fell asleep.
If I had known that I would have slept right in the middle of the bed instead of all scrunched up on my side!
It feels like it's time to go out now and get some food and/or groceries but first I will wake up Josh who seems to be enjoying "sleeping in" as we call it or "having a lie in" as they say over in the UK
Hope everyone has a great day!
