How are you doing today?
I just did a load of laundry plus I was out back watering my plants - I got a whole bunch of them on Monday from the No Frills store - it was the end of the season and they looked a bit pathetic
They were all half price - I have been giving them water and fertilizer plus a bit of sunshine on my back deck so they are perking up
I Doin Good Just Read Alot Today An Play With My Kids. What Your Favorite Plants You Got? I was just out there on the deck - I like my cherry tomato plants (although there are no tomatoes yet) plus there is a small plant that smells like curry.
The coleus are very pretty I bought two small plants that are similar in colour to this picture

Wow You Right They Very Pretty Sis. Thanks For Sharing. Perhaps this might fit better in the gardening thread but anyway
- last night I went outside after the sun went down to plant some raspberry canes that the neighbor gave me - apparently they don't like a lot of hot sun after being transplanted.
So I gave them a good watering and then today went out and covered them with a light cover/blanket to protect them from the hot sun - I hope they take root!

Your coleus are fabulous. I have a few of them too. They add great color to my garden. Lately it has been so damn hot that I water my plants outside twice a day. Otherwise they faint.

Good Luck With The RaspBerry Canes Sister <33333 Thanks - it's been 10 days or so now and they are still alive so hopefully taking root
Only thing that happened is one day I had to remove some
cat poop - yuck! Some stray cat or other was using the freshly dug up dirt as its personal litter box - yuck!
The flies seemed to be happy about it however - pee yew!

Hope your plants are doing well drawntokatet - we are finally seeing a few green baby tomatoes but it took quite a while - our tiny tomato plants are now monsters - I should go out and give them some water and fertilizer

Going to this event today:
It's a Classic Car Show down in the village of Steinbach Manitoba
"The Village of Steinbach was founded in the fall of 1874 when a small party of Kleine Gemeinde (small church) Mennonites determined a suitable location to settle"
We're going to be setting out soon as it's about a one and a half hour drive south (more like two hours as I like to take my time)

Doing lots of housework yesterday and today. Last week we had a houseguest. He is kind and considerate, not a selfish brat like that lodger who drove me bonkers last year. Young man sold his NH condo to move to Seattle and live near family. All family in NH have passed away. Anyway, we decided he should stay with us for a week before he drives across country. Always be kind and compassionate.

The swap meet was a bust, but at least i got a delicious piece of cheesecake.
Visited the duckies, they all send a happy Quack.
Now i'm watching the European League of Football, aka Slapstick Football.

This is more of a case of What did you do yesterday but anyway...
One of the nurses at the hospice told me that the Natives or Indigenous peoples believe that deer come around to accompany dying people's spirits to the "Happy Hunting Grounds".
Well there are deer that are sometimes seen on the grounds of Jocelyn House (Andy's hospice)
Andy was having a lot of trouble clearing his throat and they don't have a suction machine there. I was quite worried and the last thing he tried to say to me (after I said See you tomorrow) was "If I'm still here"
Didn't think much of it but on my way to the car I saw two young deer in the front yard of the house next door.
I actually called Jocelyn House around 10 to 1 in the morning to see how Andy was doing and the nurse said he was sleeping peacefully. Whew! I told her thanks and now I could go to bed and try to sleep.

Neesy I don’t know if Andy could try to do this, but it really works. Even just a try or two can help. Simple exercise. I found this vid quite awhile back for my mom and her husband. 🙏❤️

I dozed off earlier today, and ended up taking a nap. Until I heard Hercule Poirot scream, ”Nooooh! Cah-pee-tahn!!!”
It was on then! We had to go and get Bouc off a pyramid, before he wound up in an Egyptian jail or something. 🤨
(We might go to Venice again tonight. I better check the fridge and hope I have a pair of identical twin eggs in the carton. 😳🙄)
