Grapeseed oil is about the same price as decent olive oil. They sell it at the grocery store and even at Walmart around here. So you should be able to find it somewhere! I tried making the pizza in the cast iron frying pan (baked in the oven). It was quite good I even made my own dough. The dough made enough for two pizzas so I just made one then used the rest to bake a small (mini) loaf of bread
The crust in the pan was a bit crispy so maybe I should have taken it out two minutes sooner but for those who like a crunchy crust it would be nice (Andy enjoyed it)
That sounds sooooo yummy B0QqBYzXPBBWUeYwSIrI
I have to try this, maybe at the weekend

I like making stuff using yeast - pizza dough, bread, cinnamon buns or dinner rolls etc.
Last night we had a flattened chicken (Portuguese style) - it was not too bad. We had that with mashed potatoes and some corn niblets.
I sort of looked like a chicken that got run over
You just take it out, put in on a pan lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven at 375 for about an hour

Yay! So glad it worked out so well (not that I was worried - you're an excellent home chef!). I need to conquer my fear of baking with yeast so I can expand my rudimentary culinary skills.

Bought some artisan garlic ciabatta bread the other day and have had fake turkey sandwiches with romaine and tomatoes for the past 2 nights in a row. I might make either pasta with fresh sauteed spinach and garlic or veggie chili tonight. Something warm because it's freezing outside!

neesy Today at Walmart I found a 51 oz. bottle of non GMO grapeseed oil for less than $8! (And that's the only good story I have about the dreaded Wally World trip! )

Apparently you can even put it in your hair - I should try that - my hair is a bit curly and has a tendency to get dry

I've got a sick husband and a snowstorm coming in this afternoon so tonight's gourmet fare will be grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.
Good comfort food and blizzard rations!

neesy I've used grapeseed oil as face moisturizer. Works well and is easier to apply than coconut oil.

Sunday (St. Patrick's Day) we'll be going over to my brother's house for his annual Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner. I already bought a couple different wines to take along. I still need to pick up Irish soda bread and fresh baked raisin bread on Saturday.

Tonight I have to do something with the rest of a very ripe avocado. Either a sandwich or spread on an english muffin. Maybe a salad. Last night I made veggie hot dogs - a brand I hadn't tried before. Took a lot of mustard to choke those puppies down!

I have been wanting to eat those tiny baby corn on the cobs. So, for dinner tonight I made rice, breaded chicken in cherry sauce, breaded garlic pork in sweet and sour sauce, and a vegetable mixture of snow peas, red and green pepper, celery, onion, bean sprouts, and baby corn.

I haven't seen those baby corn in ages! Had them in a Chinese Vegetable Deluxe dish somewhere. The two places I've ordered from in the past ten years don't use them. Maybe they did a long time ago.
Sounds like quite the spread you made annamarie !!
Had soup and a sandwich for dinner last night. Maybe I'll be more ambitious today.

It's good with mashed potatoes. I suppose we should have a side salad with it, but there are quite a few vegetables mixed in with the meat and onions.

I had fake chicken noodle soup last night and tonight I heated up some homemade lentil soup my mom made a few days ago. It was good, but she puts every wilted vegetable in the fridge in her soups. Great way to avoid food waste, but I'm not a big fan of zucchini for the most part.

The entire dinner was delicious. The only baby corn we could find was canned, so there was to much. It did not overpower the taste of everything else though, so that was ok. iām going To talk to my son. He sometimes buys them fresh, so Iām going to find out where. Next time, I will cut them though. These ones were to long for this dinner.
