I'm making simple beef gravy meatballs with Mrs. Schubert's yeast rolls. I make little sandwiches and eat them with potato chips. Last week I did the same thing but used spaghetti sauce. The meatballs are ground beef, eggs, minced onion, minced bell pepper, crushed Ritz crackers. I'm even thinking about trying it in crockpot with BBQ sauce and jelly.

I'm happy to see this thread - must have overlooked it previously 👀🙀 Last night we had spaghetti carbonara, caesar salad, and baked beans as well as coleslaw and fried chicken. It felt like a real feast as I had been cutting back quite a bit in the previous week. I even had a home made chocolate chip cookie for dessert! 🍪 |

A Papa Murphy's thin crust Gourmet Vegetarian pizza. Yum. And maybe some leftover coleslaw from the other night. I don't like sweet slaw, so I use vegan mayo, a little drizzling olive oil and a splash of apple cider vinegar. I also roast sunflower seeds and put them in as well, along with extra carrots.

Tonight, I think it will be Amy's organic enchiladas. If I had any ambition today, I'd make a side of rice and beans. We'll see - but I don't have high hopes. Ha ha

Think I will drive to the Starbucks for a hot drink - maybe they will have something that looks good, but it's not really supper, just a snack.
I actually have printed out the recipe for these - maybe I'll give them a shot, if I have all the ingredients.

I watched the video - it makes me want to go over to Dollarama to check out their "foodstuffs" - I have always wondered about some of the stuff I see in that aisle. I do not think we can get lobster rolls up here in Canada - they must be frozen I guess? |
