Today we actually left the house - went to the bank (40 minute line up), then WallyMart
then I...
(ew I hate to admit this)
I picked up a bucket of KFC - yup - Kentucky Fried Chicken - oy - had a couple of wings and now I have to record this in myfitnesspal. Oh well - at least I started off my day with 1 hour of stationary bicycle riding!

Lunchtime, alas I didn't bring any lunch in with me so I'll stare out the window for thirty minutes then go back to work.

Lunchtime, alas I didn't bring any lunch in with me so I'll stare out the window for thirty minutes then go back to work. You poor thing!
Here - have some of my fish and chips:
Today I have to go hit the old Post Office after I type a quick letter for my older sister. Her birthday is on June 15th but since she lives in Toronto I thought I should get her parcel in the mail today.
She asked me to buy her some Watkins vanilla a while back. It's rather expensive at $8.99 a bottle but she says she cannot find it in her province. Even though she offered to send me money for it, I decided I would just call it a birthday present as I managed to find eight bottles for her.
@alexandra - guess which card I am sending her? It's a lovely pic of some flowers and trees taken in Kent UK

Not long home, went to a big hardware store, got a few things, que to get in was quite lo large but it moved relatively quickly, I power hosed the patio slabs out back so had to get more sand to spread out to fill inbetween the gaps. It's been raining on and off this morning so I won't do it today, we'll see how the weather is tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good day today.

I've put the new plants on the deck so they can get acclimatized to their new environment. I feel like I am rescuing plants when I buy them from the big box stores like Home Depot (some of the ones on sale looked a wee bit neglected).
I guess when you have that many on display some are likely to get overlooked.
Someone there was asking about pesticides and talking about killing dandelions. I wanted to go over and tell them not to use pesticides actually. This idea of having a perfect garden/lawn with nothing but grass on it is really dumb, I think.
Anyway - I will get off my soap box now

the old keyboard is acting up now and then which I find a bit frustrating. Other than that all is well!
My weight is stable at the moment which is good. Still haven't eaten my beef liver yet and I did buy some frozen spinach. (Both are supposed to be good for increasing iron).
Is your hubby happy to be back at work? How are the kids?
We are just watching Julia Child on TV (PBS) - I recorded it. She is making French bread.
Stay safe and I hope you can find something to help with your anxiety a054

Heh heh heh. 😄 That rib-eye sounds just right! Cheese balls with a nice raw Cayenne chile, would be nice. And a side of blue-scab corn tortillas chips and Jordy Verrill's salsa verde, if possible. Tequila! Thankee kindly, Garcon! 😊
