I started the day off on a good note - did 42 minutes on the stationary bicycle.
Now I think I will raid the downstairs freezer to see what we have for a late lunch (I am in the mood for some sort of fish) - or maybe they have a batter coating VWKKFduRFHVMhHXyDqLu
My banana bread turned out pretty good and I had a piece of that for breakfast
Glad to hear you are in a good mood! sDo0heZ0VmxIqJBYhpPd

- the city of Winnipeg has a few big trucks parked near our house - one is a wood chipper - they are removing a really big tree from the yard of a house on the corner. They're making a lot of noise but apparently Andy is sleeping right through it (he is upstairs)
Sounds like you had a lot of fun yesterday
Today I think I will try to get outside.
We are doing a very gradual reopening here in Manitoba as our cases of Covid 19 are so low (only 281) even though our population is about half a million in my city.
I got on the old bike again today - it is becoming a habit - I like to start the day by exercising before I have had any breakfast
It seems my weight is just staying the same at the moment - haven't gone up or down, so maybe I need to start using some light weights to tone my upper body
Anyway - I'm over at SKMB but thought I would just drop in to say hello

Not sure what I am going to do today. I should clean out the drawers in the kitchen
and the balcony needs a Spring clean up. Lots to do but think its going to be one of those days that I bury myself in Ancestry on line.

What a coincidence, Sandra. Yesterday and today I have been doing ancestral research online and digging through old photos and letters (circa 1920s) concerning my great-grandmother and her deaf brother Coleman. Find any leads or golden nuggets? I think my imagination has been stoked enough to produce a short story; I'm jotting down ideas. Have a great week.

doccreed Do you find the time passes quickly when you are working on Ancestry? It seems to fly by for me. There always seems something new each time I log on. Been working on it since 2011 and found just over 11,000. How in depth do you go Doc? I always enter the children, if I can find them. Their D.O.B. and where they are buried and dates. The further
back I can go I find it gets more interesting. Their occupations and their Wills are sometimes a real history lesson. Do you just look on Ancestry website or do you use some of the free websites? I find the most helpful free site is familysearch.org

I been doing the same as @alexandra an doccreed too lately...looking up stuff about my ancestors. You guys might have seen my post where I talked about how My Dad always used to tell me our Family was from Nigeria all the way back before we went to Jamaica. Well I want to go Vist that Place in Africa someday with my Family an do it for him...so it would be nice to meet up with any distant Relatives over there if I can find them.
Other then that I just been Playing Games with the Kids an Also Played some Video Games today as well an had fun with that.

Sorry, just now saw this. Yeah, I gather all of the free information I can, including oral history. Most of the good stuff I've gotten second hand through my cousin in the Caymans. She has Ancestry and other sites she pays for and sends me pics and documents. It's strange: sometimes I even notice new things in a photo I've looked at a dozen times. Like you said, the further back one searches the more interesting it gets.
