If the rain holds off today I think the plan is to try and tackle the back garden, if we can get it knocked into shape it'll make things a lot easier for us in the summer time.

Feeling somewhat awful, having posted a belated birthday message to a forum member of whom I had no idea had passed a month before, on the SKMB. And then discovered two members liked my post without them even noticing. Gawd, I'm so sorry... I wish I could delete the post. I always like to read your postings. You honored her for a birthday and that`s fine. She celebrated it, so don`t worry.

It looks something like this one - instead of sitting upright like a regular bicycle, you're sitting back with your legs stretched out
Mine isn't quite as fancy as the second one - it has a display that shows heart rate, calories burned, distance and time but it is at least 9 or 10 years old
You're such a good househusband!
Ohhhh WOW that cool Neesy do you use a lot? It looks like a great exsersize Machine tbh. Now that is back upstairs in the living room I am using it again - we had to carry it upstairs from the basement and dust it offIf the rain holds off today I think the plan is to try and tackle the back garden, if we can get it knocked into shape it'll make things a lot easier for us in the summer time. Our garden is still deep in snow (we must have at least two feet of the stuff out there)

Hi Frank - just came back from WalMart where I bought some bottled water and quite a few baby wipes (you cannot flush them but still it will be good to have on hand just in case); of course all the shelves were empty where the TP used to be glcSpWMnSriJbYYbROwL
Canada has now closed the border to nonresidents (but Americans are exempt from this ruling since they are our next door neighbors)
I heard Germany has also closed their borders?

My son is off work until all the coronavirus settles down. Plus they cancelled his bowling until the end of March.
Today I plan to make a Slow Cooker Curry Coconut Shrimp Soup - I have a recipe from a magazine (it's from about 4 years ago); I don't have any sweet potatoes but yesterday I did go out to buy a couple of cans of coconut milk - I hope it turns out okay!
I guess maybe I will just substitute regular potatoes and leave the skins on after cleaning them well with a brush.
Have a great day!

Just have my usual cup of lady grey tea before I start work. There was a site meeting yesterday, the boss said he expects a lockdown to occur soon and when it happens we're all going to be laid off, he stressed that our jobs will be here waiting for us when things improve.

Sticking to some basic habits is important for me. I'm not driving to the office, but I'm sticking to my routines. Up at 6am, coffee, shower & dress, login to pc and be productive. The family doesn't bug me too much during my workday. Traffic is easy-peasy on these work-from-home days. I have 'one set of lights' when I leave the living room. Find humor in your day. Keep off the news websites and TV news channels. Be kind to everyone. Don't hoard the toilet paper or buy out all the chicken from the grocery stores. Peace out

Today I am making a fresh loaf of bread plus another type of soup. Yesterday's curry soup was a bit too hot so I am taking the broth from that to make a Mulligatawny soup.
So far today a guy delivered some Avon (rang the bell twice, dropped the box on the cement step outside, then left) Guess he doesn't want any face to face contact.
My Mulligatawny soup is smelling really good.
Andy is up and watching Storage Wars on TV while waiting for Josh to get out of the shower. He likes to take a bath but I asked him to turn off the water upstairs until Josh was done on the main floor.
That's about it!
Have to go out later to use a $10 card from Shopper's Drug Mart before it expires otherwise no definite plans other than to hunker down in the house and avoid people.
Hope everyone is doing okay!
