So - just another Monday, eh?
It's Louis Riel Day here which is nice (It's good for people to have a day off in the middle of February)
Enjoy your cuppa {you have inspired me to go find my Lady Grey tea bags) 
Yep just a regular Monday, couldn't function without my cuppa. Next holiday we have here is St. Patrick's Day, I'll be in Lisbon that weekend. So what would you normally do on a St. Patrick's Day?
We don't get that day off here - so no actual holiday until Easter in April.
As far as tea - sometimes I drink decaf Tetleys but most of the time it is the regular stuff.

My twin sister is getting my hair in Box Braids right now...she only one of the few that I let mess with my hair because I don't like people touch my head from my injury it feels too weird. But I wanted to do something different with my hair.

Well the painter is here painting my bathroom, which is great. It needs it. Now I wonder if I can talk the Bldg. Manager into painting the kitchen? Its only taken 4 years to say yes to doing the bathroom.

I just watching a kids movie called Zootopia with my Son...Tomorrow my Daughter last day of School for the week because of conferences so me an her dad going up there tomorrow. I hope they say good tings about her not bad.  Buuut I know my Daughter she is wild sometimes so we will see.

Last night my daughter had a band concert. They always do a big concert at the end of the year and the junior high bands play, then the high school band plays and then the 8th graders join the high school on stage to play together. The idea is to give the 8th graders a chance to see what high school band is like.
It was awesome, as always. The hs band was flawless and they filled the auditorium with beautiful sound! It made me miss my band days. (Yes, I know that sounds nerdy. 😆)
The jr high did awesome as well. Daughter is in 8th grade. I was especially enjoying their song selections because the saxophones had melody parts! That is what my daughter plays (and what I used to play as well) and it is rare to have melody parts as a sax player. Unless it is a jazz band saxophones are usually just accompanyists. So that was awesome.
Was a fun evening. 🙂

Always amazed at how talented some of the kids are in those High School bands. To bad more kids don’t keep on playing after HS.
