Someone on YouTube is wanting me to do a buddy read of John Grisham's The Street Lawyer. Anyone read it? I have a paperback copy on my dresser with my Grisham books but I'm feeling iffy about it. Frank, have you read it?

How much of The Street Lawyer have you read so far doccreed ? I read the first three chapters this morning and am enjoying it. Hope I actually finish it, since that seems to be a big problem for me lately.

Like doccreed said, it's fast paced.
During the last 2 weeks i finished:
"The Brethren" by John Grisham. The ending was..meehh. Not his best book but funny sometimes.
The Thruth Factory" by Cody MCFadyen. Same here, not his best. Sometimes i felt like reading a psycholigst report, very long winded. I have skipped a lot of pages.
"Roadside Crosses" by Jeffery Deaver. Great Topic (cyber bullying)and how it and the internet can affect peoples life. Was a fun read.
Still reading "Storm of the Century" and Perry Rhodan

I read Roadside Crosses several years ago, but remember that I liked it. I've read most of Deaver's books and particularly enjoy the Lincoln Rhyme novels. |

I have only read one of the Lincoln Rhyme Books and it wasn't my cup of tea. (It was about a killer that used electricity)

Finished The Street Lawyer by Grisham. I really enjoyed it.
On chapter five of MINE by McCammon and it's blowing my mind!

About 160 pages into MINE. Wish I could read all night long and not sleep until I finish. Haven't been this engrossed in a book since the first time I read Under the Dome. Although Kelly Braffet's books were almost that gripping, especially the first one I read, Last Seen Leaving. Read that one in a day. I don't think any of her novels took me more than a couple days to read. Thank God for wonderful books and their authors!

Going to start One Door Away from Heaven by Dean Koontz.
