neesy and Klerekast I haven't carved a pumpkin since I was a kid. A few weeks ago, I bought a glass jack o' lantern and a pumpkin-scented tea candle from the dollar store.

Yes, buy one! I love pumpkins... I will be decorating my front door this weekend. Nothing too impressive, but I love it anyway. Looks like my pumpkin will get quite cold if I buy one and put it out on the front step!

October 5th is National Get Funky Day and also National Body Language Day so I say:
"Don't shower!"
If you have to leave the house though (since it's National Do Something Nice Day as well) maybe getting clean first would be kinder to your fellow humans

Nice! It's so much fun to browse the autumn section in stores. I have yet to carve my first pumpkin, sadly it's not really a thing over here, especially not when I was a child. I'm happy to see that Halloween is slowly gaining popularity here! I decorated the front door today. And the fridge. The fridge is always decorated for every season. When we moved in here it was one of the few places we could put nice things, because we had a fridge before we had any other furniture (besides a mattress and some fold-up chairs of course). So now it's a tradition to decorate the fridge. These pictures are from last year, but it looks the same this year:

Those are very nice! c011
I was wandering around Dollarama yesterday to see what they had - I have quite a few of my old decorations down in the basement - guess I will dust them off soon and decorate - I love Halloween!

It's a quote from an old Traditional about the American West. The song is in the public domain which is why i didn't use quotes. I've been humming this all day for some reason. This is what I've been singing all week..... It'd hold 8 kids and four hound dogs plus a piggy we stole from the shed We didn't get much sleep, but we had a lot of fun on Grandma's feather bed

I was listening to the radio this evening and heard it's Alvin C. York day today. I looked down and saw I was wearing my Alvin C. York T shirt. No idea it was his day. I had just picked a T off the hanger, turned it rightside out and put it on.
