I was thinking about quitting my horror host gig because it's such a hassle to do the props and get in my outfit and come up with banter and such when I don't even know who, if anyone, watches the show. It was getting harder to talk myself into doing them and I was putting it off longer and longer each time. Then my grand daughters spent the night with us Saturday and the eldest said I was a celebrity with the kids at her school. She said they can't believe Count Eeflac is her papaw. Well then. I guess they aren't such a hassle after all. I remember horror host Sivad from my childhood with much sentiment. I put three episodes in the can today.

I think my supermarket wants me dead. k042
A little backstory: my supermarket uses discount cards (called bonus cards). And if you register, you get personal discounts that are only for you, based on items you have bought before. So today, I saw a warning on their website that says little pieces of rubber have been found in a specific brand of yoghurt. And what is my personal bonus today? That specific brand of yoghurt. Why thank you! But no thanks.  |

I think grandpa had the right idea - wait until the fall colours are at their peak (could be a bit chilly however)
