Got it. 😊 I was thinking of that word this morning, and typed it into search just to see if I could remember how to spell it correctly and that above came up. 😄

In this case, it means "Blau machen" (Blau = Blue)
Blaumachen (to make blue) means: Skip work, play hooky. Usually, you go to your doctor, say you're sick, and he gives you a sick note.
