Gut - good
Guten Morgen - Good morning Guten Abend - Good evening Gute Nacht - Good night
Commander osnafrank , how come Gute Nacht, isn't Guten Nacht, like Guten Morgen?
Please and thank you. 🙂 Yeah, German Grammar.
Because German nouns are based on gender. Masculine, faminine, neutral.
Der Morgen, Der Tag = Masculine. Die Nacht = Feminine
Because it’s „die Nacht“ and not like “der Tag, der Morgen, der Abend”. So you have to use gute. Gute and Guten have the same meaning, the ending is changing for the gender of the noun. Yeah, I get it! 😄 ....this makes a few other things make more sense to me too. Danke schoen, mein freund!

For Soccer....
"It's "Englische Woche" (English Week), means a three-game week.
Usually, the scores in an englische woche are pretty crazy."

For now, I like this. I came across it this morning when I was checking out the weather vids. Lol, nice little recipe and lots of vocab words! 😄....

'Berg is sometimes used as a kind of slang term for a town here...I THINK... I may have the spelling wrong on that, and it's probably supposed to be burg. Lady spideyman knows, I am sure. 🙂
Example :
"Mike's hometown was a sleepy little berg/burg out in the middle of nowhere."
