This is a happy/sad post. My youngest niece was supposed to have a sleepover at my mom's place tonight. I was so looking forward to seeing her. But she fell and scraped her knee and wanted to go home.
But even though she left before I got there, she had made me a homemade card saying "In the ups and downs of life I will always love you." My gawd I cried. That was before she got hurt. And it was almost as if she knew somehow that I've been having a tough time. I love that kid so very much and will keep her card forever.

I'm not sure why I am happy today - just know that for a long time I was sad but today I feel at peace - weird, huh?

Normally I am a pretty happy and optimistic person - was just feeling down for about three weeks or so

They had a sale on books at the mall. Any book in the store for about 60 american cents. 5 swedish crowns. I bought 5 books and feel much better. I'm not acrually doing a jig of happiness but i feel, as Neesy said, at peace and thats a good thing. Strange that just buying a few books cheap can give you such a feeling. Does that indicate that i'm a bit weird???
