STARTING MONDAY,
we all can take a break, breathe and relax a little
and discuss other items on our "Goals List"
posted on page 1 of this thread, and other things. 🙂
For now :
1. as far as rules go, 750 word MAX for chapters, with the exception of Chapters 1, 5 and 8.
Those are 1,500 words MAX.
Going a bit below these Max word limits is perfectly fine , of course. 🙂

Last year we did start including "quotes from authors" at the beginning of our chapters.
This is another thing we can and will have fun doing!
I suggest, that if it is difficult to finds specific quotes about WEREWOLVES', then we could use quotes about wolves in general. (I'm thinkin' of a good one right now)
...OR...... I have no problem with quotes from werewolf or wolf flicks! 😊

last year one of my quotes was from Maurice Sendak's "Where The Wild Things Are",
and the other was a quote from a D.H. Lawrence poem.
Neither had anything to do with Ghosts or Haunted Houses
or "La Llorona". But they went okay with my particular chapters. 🙂
So you go as left field and think outside the box as much as you want to,
fitting to your chapter, kiddo! That is a big part of this awesome creative endeavor we're doing.🙂

(...and by the way, prufrock21 , I got to finally see that 2019 movie "La Llorona", and it was MUCH better than I thought it would be. I really liked it. I wanted to see it after our story last year. Got lucky and found it one day a couple of months later. 🙂)

The Story (theme) is about a werewolf, or werewolves.
Review the "Goals List" on page 1.
(we'll all get to talkin' on it.)
....and please remember from last year,
this creative adventure is a bit 'mysterious'.
YOU have it within your power to be creative,
and set the mood, setting, era.... etc....let your freaky deaky creative writing flag fly!
Starting Monday
we will have some days for more discussion and you to confer
with and ask questions of, your fellow writers.
And get their input.
