we all can take a break, breathe and relax a little
and discuss other items on our "Goals List"
posted on page 1 of this thread, and other things. 🙂
For now :
1. as far as rules go, 750 word MAX for chapters, with the exception of Chapters 1, 5 and 8.
Those are 1,500 words MAX.
Going a bit below these Max word limits is perfectly fine , of course. 🙂

A couple ideas to throw at ya'll for the werewolf story/curse/tale (I like the pun).
- Ousted alpha daughter of werewolf pact falls in love with shunned leader’s son of human werewolf hunter clan because he does not believe in indiscriminately destroying them.
- A man who is bitten by a female werewolf attempts to find the one who did this to him. At first it’s to seek revenge, but in the end they fall in love.
- A rogue werewolf tries to earn his way into a pack by impregnating a female werewolf of the pack who is the daughter of the alpha.
- A female werewolf of a pure-blooded werewolf pack has a love affair with a human and ends up having to protect and hide the fact that her child is a half-breed.
- Two alphas from different werewolf packs end up being mates, but neither wants to leave their own pack. Joining their packs together is more complicated and violent than predicted.

Note: Six is not my lucky number so I'm going to pretend it's 19. As for "La Llorona," you saw the movie, but some folks who live in the municipality (Lajas) close to mine actually reported seeing her. It usually happens at dusk, and people say she dresses in white and makes a moaning or weeping sound. People in the same municipality have also reported seeing UFOs. I have never seen either, so I'm going to play it cool and reserve judgment. |

Our List Of GOALS :
1. Establish 'Theme'.
What IS this beautiful beast of a horror story,
that we will create, going to be about!?😊
(Everyone can definitely be brainstorming on THAT right here and now!)
2. All decide upon 1st, 2nd or 3rd Person.
3. Establish the simple rules that we will need.
Examples :
Setting the word count. Right now we are sticking with the usual 1,200 words for 1st and Last Chapters, and 750 words for the inbetween chapters.
Maintaining proper continuity.
(Within reason! Everyone is allowed to bring surprises and be CREATIVE!😊)
Being aware of, and having a proper "Beginning", "Middle" and "End".
Being considerate of the fellow writers following you.
Being careful with any introduction of new characters towards the "wrapping up" and "END" (around the last few chapters) of the story.
AGAIN, surprises are good! Be creative and spontaneous!
BUT also considerate and fairly logical about these things.
I WILL work with and help everyone out, should they need it, and as they need it.
Be happy, funny (if you so choose to be), wild and creative!
But NO "Stupid Maverick" or "Running Amokedness Dr. Jekyll's Mr. Hyde Style".
Be mindful of our boards rules and PG rating.
But also remember that GORE is acceptable and encouraged!
Be mindful (the best you can) of your word count,
and when your chapter is due,
and please have it done on time.
Submitting it to me in a PM for reading and editing. 🙂
4. Establishing the writers order.
(Around this time we will talk about our BACK UP PLANS if anyone has an emergency and has to bow out. I'll ask for volunteers from the writing pool willing to help out and be drawn, if anything like that should happen)
We will need volunteers for: 1st and Last Chapters.
(If anyone says they are willing to be put wherever they are needed, then they will included in the draw for these two chapters, UNLESS they tell me OTHERWISE.)
With that done, all other writer's shall be drawn at random to work the inbetween chapters.
5. Set the schedules!
(Now this stage,
I am going to get right on as soon as we know how many writers we finally have, after sign up.)
Examples :
Writing order.
Establish how long each writer has to complete their chapter.
When we begin all of the writing, and when we finish it.
And of course, when the publishing on the main public board will be.
Alright!...That is "Our List of Goals" (for now)!
We will cross things off of it as we get them done!
And we can add or tweak what I have written here, as we need to.
Everyone's opinion counts and is wanted and welcome!
But please remember the coordinator/Editor(Editrix)/Ramrod has the FINAL say.🙂
For all my usual posts,
I'll go ahead and use my usual "Wolf Eyes GREEN" font color.
For any lists or other updates/important announcements
I will use the "Halloween Honeycomb Hideout ORANGE".
....so the information will be easier to find, refer to, and bring up to our current pages if, when and as necessary. 🙂

We can starting tossing around suggestions and votes for :
1. for "The Title"
(@kurben , I am still patiently waiting for you
to give some kind of answer to the question I asked you, sir. 🙂)
2. Voting on the color of the font for our story.
(The 3 colors we will choose from)
3. Getting to the final drawing for WHO will write the "Epilogue".

Doyoulove made the cover artwork for last year's Halloween Story. As part of my job (I think I have like 200 job responsibilities) I also do graphic work for our company marketing materials and the website. Meh... small company = lots of job responsibilities.
I had some downtime and threw something together without knowing anything other than it will be a werewolf story, and I didn’t know what the title would be.
So, submitted for your consideration…
