I think the actual question was, if it is a 'fictional city' or not.
I personally don't think it matters at all.
I like the name of the park and city! applouse
I will make that your chapter 1's title,
until you maybe come up with another one you prefer!

Thanks wolf . There is actually a “Darktown” section of a town near me, and is associated with alleged paranormal activity. It is located on the banks of a river, and you go down this one road to get there (and the road narrows around a bridge piling and you have to honk your horn to let people coming the other way, that you can't see, know you're coming around the piling). It was established in 1890s. The area lies in the shadow of a large bridge over the river and always has a dark and ominous feeling when you go there.

2. Chapter titles are engaging, so yes, let's do them. As for the story's title, consider having "curse" in it. ------- Check
3. OK to include me in the Epilogue drawing. ------ Check4. a. Definitely consider adding a romantic subplot. I know romance it tricky to write, but if it works for the vampire story, it should also work for the hairy Canis lupus. -------- Check (A little...there's potential there, I think.) b. Consider also making use of werewolf legend and lore. ------- Check (mmm...there's a little bit, I think. 😊)
c. Can we throw a gypsy fortune teller in there somewhere? And --------- Noooo. 😂
