In Bag of Bones.
Mike has conversation with Ralph Roberts from Insomnia, with a brief comment about Insomnia.
Tad Beaumont and Joe Mc Clatchey are both mentioned in passing.

"Insomnia"...wasn't one of my favorite novels exactly. But there were parts of that story and some characters that WERE all time favorites! Ralph Roberts in particular.

JB darkharbinger , I was thinking the other day right after watching the "Tommyknockers" movie.
"Big Injun/Burning Woods"...
I had a couple of ideas about that space ship, Kind of theories about those woods. 1. The ship landed there long before the indiginous populated the area. Deep down in the earth, the 'power' of the ship and aliens affected the ground and brought forth that 'sour spot' closer to the surface of the earth's crust. 2. There are many of those powerful 'sour spots/portals' scattered all over the earth. When that ship entered Earth's atmosphere it was DRAWN (like a magnet) to the powerful force of the closest one and crashed there....the ship/alien's energy/power and the 'sour spot's/portal's' energy/power lay there together feeding eachother....and that was why the aliens were able to do all they did to and with the townspeople. .....you know me JB. That's just my strange imagine at work and speculating again. 😊 personally I fell it was drawn to the spot....in a similar fashion and right about the same time , Pennywise fell from the Prim and landed in derry, which isn't that far away either

Long days and pleasant nights, darlin You too, sweetie. 😊
now that I think about it more...if good King Steven HAD done a series on/around that Eclipse....it would have totally awesome with all kinds of Dark Tower stuff in it. I think. Maybe he rethought it and decided it would have grown to epic proportions and gotten to be rather unwieldly, when he had so many other things to done. 🙂 Have a good night JBerrrrs. 😊

There Even A Low Key Reference To IT/Pennywise In Insomnia Lol.
😊
It is set in Derry. Also I remember at the end, the crossover ref to "Rose Madder". Bet there's a bunch more crossovers like that in "Insomnia". Bet JB darkharbinger knows. 😊😉 (I would have really loved to see 'Atropos and his brothers show up somewhere in other SK works. 🙂)

Rose Madder - it had a connection to insomnia and the dark tower, they talk about the city of Lud
Pennywise mentions - Tommyknockers, Dreamcatcher, Insomnia, and 11/22/63
Atropos has one of Gage Creed shoes

11/22/63 has some connections to IT.
Jake pays a visit to Derry, meets Bev and Richie, feels a dark presence, at the Kitchener Ironworks. and the murderer was dressed up as a Clown.

It's intentional. Sara Laughs is the twiner of Car Laughs, SK's house on Turtleback Lane. This could bring up a connection between the fictional SK and Mike Noonan, maybe they are twiners as well.
