I was going to save this one, but I figured I'd go ahead. Wolf, my friend, this one is for you In the Stand, when Stu and Tom are looking for a car to get back to Boulder. They come across a very old Plymouth that is still in good condition. Unlike the other cars they have seen there was nobody behind the wheel. The keys are in the ignition and the fob had the initials A.C. So yes, Christine was in the Stand Oh my stars and flamin' garters, I love it! 😃😄 Thank you sweetie, that really cheered me up JB! You're the best. 😊
I never caught that! I read "The Stand" before I read "Christine", and never got that connection. That is just too cool! Thanks again JB! 😄 Oh JB! ( darkharbinger ) One question! Do you know which King wrote FIRST, was it "Christine" or "The Stand" ?!? I'm thinking hard, trying to remember. Thank you for any and all help my friend. 😊

Wolf, the scene I am referring to its from the revised version of the Stand, which was published after Christine. The original version of the Stand was published before CHristine, so i guess Sai King want to add some connections, like when Fran mentions going to visit Castle Rock (which was also not a thing in the original).

I knew it! "Christine Lives". 😄 ...and she's not all THAT bad. 😊 She helped good Stu and 'the other good St. Tom' with a ride back home to safety.😊
"M-O-O-N that spells "Christine!" 😊
(Ooo...that reminds me, we got a Full Moon tonight. 😊😋🐺)

JB darkharbinger , I was thinking the other day right after watching the "Tommyknockers" movie.
"Big Injun/Burning Woods"...
I had a couple of ideas about that space ship, Kind of theories about those woods. 1. The ship landed there long before the indiginous populated the area. Deep down in the earth, the 'power' of the ship and aliens affected the ground and brought forth that 'sour spot' closer to the surface of the earth's crust. 2. There are many of those powerful 'sour spots/portals' scattered all over the earth. When that ship entered Earth's atmosphere it was DRAWN (like a magnet) to the powerful force of the closest one and crashed there....the ship/alien's energy/power and the 'sour spot's/portal's' energy/power lay there together feeding eachother....and that was why the aliens were able to do all they did to and with the townspeople. .....you know me JB. That's just my strange imagine at work and speculating again. 😊

Okay, I didn't know King added anything to the 'shorter version'. It's been a very long time since I have read both the editions.
I was remembering back to when I first heard about that long edition being released.... I was talking to a bus driver I used to see every afternoon back then. He had just bought a copy (and was in the middle of the book) and was telling me about it. I remember him saying that the story all the same, you would just see many or all the characters doing and saying MORE....
....like, I think, there was a huge wicked fight between Frannie and mom at one time that had been cut out....but maybe I am misremembering. 😊
