Alright! What is your favorite art that goes with music? Especially LP's but everything else too! Got a way cool artistic video you want people to share with you? That's okay too. 🙂
....damn....I think the thing I miss most about LP's are the Album covers....and a lot of the internal photos, art, lyrics etc. in double albums....
This is just a taste of what was included in 'Rumours'....
Those are just a TASTE of what all is out there, bring your favorite stuff! 🙂

While those are good, they're not as good as the first two albums arts done by the short lived and MIA starving artist and possible fugitive, Bill Gawlik. Fun fact, the artist who did the Agents of Fortune cover art also did the cover art for "Heaven and Hell" by Sabbath.

Cooool brings panda! 😊I wonder where Gawlik is now, if he's still alive. He lived with the band for awhile as he was extremely poor and needed a place to stay, then he supposedly was involved with a murder case and the band kicked him out of the house when they heard that. He was never to be seen by public eye again. The song "Hot Rails to Hell"'s lyrics were written by Joe Bouchard after he took a subway ride with Gawlik. The few who knew him before he went missing said he was one of the creepiest and seemingly soulless individuals they've met, so therefore a subway ride with him felt like a subway ride with the grim reaper right beside you. The motif lyric in the song, "12-7-7, Express to Heaven" was taken from the subway car's identification number, 1277. Joe and Buck were probably the best lyricist out of all the band members, although a large majority of lyrics were written by Pearlman and other associates. Joe with Hot Rails and Morning Final to name a few, and Buck with DFTR and Last Days of May. I can't remember all the other songs with lyrics written by the band members, asides from those that had co writing from band members. I could care less if the lyrics were all written by the actual band members or not. As long as the music itself is at least mostly composed by the band. Besides, Pearlman, Meltzer, Patty, and others were all just as important to the band as the actual members. Pearlman was a master of sci fi and fantasy poetry, he knew how to tell stories in music. Pearlman, Peart, Fagen/Becker are probably my top 4 lyricists, all of them were masters at penmanship in their own right. Other lyricists I like a lot only wrote the lyrics to a few songs though, so I respect those 4 for being able to consistently pen such great poetry and storytelling in music.

Here is the really good one....
The size of Townsend's nose scares me. The Who is one of those bands who made 2 or 3 really good albums and then just kinda became mediocre (imo). I respect everyone in the band, except Townsend, but I'll leave the reason for my dislike of him out of discussion and for your own research. He was a good musician but not a good person, which unfortunately goes for a lot of people.

How old were you when it all went down? Something like 3? ....thanks for all the cheery thoughts for today Panda, awful nice of you man!

I think that happened in like 2003, I only recently learned of it, too. So it was fresh on my mind.
