Dizzy thought you might like some of my son’s crafts. He absolutely LOVES halloween.
He designed this costume himself. He was in middle school.
The pumpkin is from a different year. The light in it changed colours. I can’t remember the character name.

Dizzy that’s it…Majora’s Mask. He’s been dressing up as Link since he was about 5, but this one he did himself. I did buy some ears that I put on him. Lol
wish I had taken a picture of the gauntlets.

Another stocking completed and ready for delivery. It is for my daughter-in-law’s sister. I had made a stocking for her baby, and she asked me to make her one too, but she wanted it pointing the same direction as her daughter’s. This pattern actually pointed the opposite way, so I took a picture and reversed it. I think it turned out well.
Yesterday I ordered some masks from them for my other granddaughter (they make gorgeous kids masks). DIL went and bought the material I wanted (unicorns) and I said I’d pick them up and pay them. She said they were not charging me. I was going to argue….but then….I’m looking at this stocking and thinking…it’s worth a few masks. 😂

I am just noticing this thread now - how many years have you been cross stitching annamarie ?
I used to have this picture done in cross stitch but then my ex decided he wanted it more
I noticed the snowman on the left in the very first pic in this thread - good work!

neesy I started somewhere around 1990. Trying to think how old my kids were…I only had 2 then.
Maybe I should dig up some of my old work and post pictures….I put a cute picture on a track jacket for my youngest when he was an infant. Saved it to give his baby….but he and partner are not planning to have any. Wonder if a cat could wear it. 😂🤣😂
Anyone want to see my older stuff?

Here are some toothfairy pillows. Aidan wanted a butterfly, but not the colours in the pattern I had, so he changed the colours. The flower on the pocket, and the back, is one that butterflies like.
Hannah was never-ever-EVER losing any teeth. But, if Aidan got a pillow she wanted one too. In orange. With a cat.

These bookmarks I designed myself. The first picture is front and back of one bookmark.
This one I made as a gift for a guy who works for my husband. He was sending me his books after he read them and didn’t want anything for them, just asked me to give to someone else. So, I made him this.
These are really bad pictures. Cut half off. 😱

I started this to give to my first grandchild. I finished it in time to give to my second. 🥴 It became his “blankie”. The one thing he had to take everywhere and couldn’t sleep without. It’s how I absolutely know my stitching is machine washable. 😂😂

Tree skirts. This was my first. I originally made it for myself because I love the ballet and I collect nutcrackers. I gave this to my son’s family. Their daughter was 2 or 3 and started jumping on it yelling, “a rat…a rat” trying to kill it. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Next, made this one for myself. I also just finished stitching this for my niece’s wedding gift.
Last one I made for my oldest son and wife. The middle dog looked just like their dog that was a puppy at the time.
