This next one is an unfinished piece I did on the Higher Quality app; using the 'oil painting mode' instead of 'air brush'.
This one was originally inspired (long ago) by two of "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers" songs :
"American Girl"
and
"Mary Jane's Last Dance".
Everyone knows how much I love good St. Tom and the Apostolic Heartbreakers! 😄😉
This I want to use an illustration for
"The Valkyrie on the Balcony" in the 'New Poems Online" thread.
I'll post that one soon.
But I'll leave the picture here.....

Varied songs and artists, like Hendrix, Steve Miller and Wolf Mother. 😊
The only thing from The Kongos that I've heard is "Come with me now",
this one is brand new to me!

Did this one on the lesser app.
I was actually inspired by a black and white photo
I saw in the news paper one morning.
Then I thought of Van Gogh,
so I titled it, "Ode to Van Gogh in reverse".
lol, I know I get weird with the titles,
that's part of the fun! 😄😉.....
And this one I did for a friend on that app,
and old man named Gerardo.
Every time we saw eachother around,
I would say, "Papi!!!"and he would answer,
"Mija!!! Que Paso!?"
His avatar was a classic cartoon Wolf,
so I made this one for him to use as his avatar.
He was a very nice man,
and a good friend to everyone. 😊.....

These 2 are from the lesser limited app,
My avatar pic I'm using here on the Playground,
and another...a little more realistic piece.
That app went through a lot of updates,
and unfortunately they often ended up not working
and and the Admin had to go back and fix everything.
A lot of the artists complained and wouldn't even try to work with it.
And many of them NEVER updated, because of the glitches.
I really liked the challenges and did the best I could
with what we had to work with. That was often quite fun too.
Lol, But I really didn't like it when I was working on something
and it would just disappear!
I saved all my progress of different pieces in stages,
in case that happened.
So I would have something, and not all would be lost. 🙂......

I cannot see any of the pictures. It seems I must be the only one. I am using Safari browser, and I can see other images and the forum's colors, but not the drawings mentioned in the posts.
