Awesome always look forward to seeing more of your work. Thank you Kindness, always so very happy to see YOU. πβ€
....diobolic Dio, I'll try to get some new and better stuff in here. Just don't know when exactly I'll be able to get to it. But I'll do it as soon as I can, thank you.π No rush... 25 minutes would be fine. (rofl)

I'll get back to you on that in my next post, Dio. π
For now, here are some more from that lesser app. The first one "Harvest King" is finished.
Then the next two, the "King and Queen of Fire", I lost to glitches in the middle of working on them. Shame too, because they were turning out to be much better than what you see here (my lettering did improve much down the line as well).....
This is from the higher app, I didn't get to finish it either. But I do have plans for completing all of these (and others) another way. "Ares"....
This one is from the higher app too, I'm really not happy with it. But kept it for reference. I was trying out doing water and waves in different ways. Another learning by doing piece....
This next one is back from the lesser app too, if I can enough of a charge on the iPad I'll track down the finished piece.
These are all just what I have on my computer right now. This is a background of a sea scene.
Many of these began with a back ground first, others did not. I started with a figure or an animal...etc.... first then put the background in after. (More on that in next post also)....
All of these were done using the 'airbrush'. I still have a couple more using the 'oil painting' mode.

Good stuff Wolfie. Good idea backing them up here in case something happens to the computer.

Thank you diobolic Dio! π
You've been on my butt about starting new digital art.... I think I have a really good plan.
I'll write about it in my next post, when I have time.
I think you might like it! And it is about some of things I just talked about in my last post too. π

But seriously... great you may be getting into some new digital art.
My modeling fees are free but it will cost you a bottle of scotch for every time you laugh. (rofl)

Okay, I'll make this as brief as I can.π Sometimes I think (and write) out loud, it helps me to get on with things and get them done. And maybe some people will find this interesting. A little bit.π
As I was saying yesterday, many of these pieces I have started with a figure, and I added in the backgrounds later.
That's what I did with "Alice the Right" (Ohhhh that lower back ground chess board.... facepalm bad wolf π),
"The Medusas" and some others.... There are major flaws in them all, I know.
"Medusa" is one of the most obvious. I'm sure everyone noticed what is SO messed up about that! And are just to polite to mention it. π (and I love you guys for that so much! πβ€)
As I was working on this, I started with the Gorgon herself. The lower background with all the rocks, stones and grasses came next.
It wasn't till much later I wanted to add in the black marble pillars and roses. What Is so flawed (of course) is that the pillars bases should be down IN FRONT of the rocks and grasses. I did it that way deliberately, because I did not want to cut out any of the work done in that area. And I was keeping all this work for future reference......
What I am going to do, as soon as I can after I get my office/drawing room set back up properly, is take advantage of one of the 3 art programs on my computer. My most good hearted, and wonderful friend who gave me my computer, set them up for me and also gave me an art tablet set to use with them! I am still so happy and grateful for all of that! π
(I'll show y'all pic's of those way cool things later in this post! π)
2 of the art programs are pretty advanced for me, but I was looking at one in particular over coffee yesterday morning, and I am sure (with this certain program) I can find a way to use a copy of this picture and fix the problems with it, making it so much better! That will get me started. I will figure out and learn the other 2 most useful programs also!π
I will have to be 'learning by doing'/figuring it all out again ( like I do with so many things ) and I am going to check out some tutorial vids to help me a long as well.
I'm thinking that using this pic, and some of the other 'Unfinished' pieces I have here, will help me teach myself.
THEN I will be ready and able to do some original new work with it all. It will take me awhile to get it all set up and ready, but I am looking forward to it so much!
Here are pictures of what I am going to be working with, "Inspiroy tablet and stylus"....
And the "Krita" program.....
This program I looked at yesterday for awhile, and I think I've figured out how to get a pic from my files put into it. π (from there?....I think it will be way cool to be able to scan a drawing like "Aphrodite at here writing desk" say, and be able to go with it. I think its possible. Seems like it should be. ππΊπ)
Also, another thing I don't like about "Medusa" up there, are the tops of columns.
I did those in a rush too, just off the top of my head. They look more like something that should be in an epicsode of the original Star Trek.ππ
I haven't done as much studying of Greek design and architecture as I would have liked, and should have. I will get back to doing that, again.
(I have studied Native North American Indian design and motif A LOT. From Kwakiutl and Tlinget, to Lakota to Many of the Plains and South West Indian tribes. Pottery, Weaving, Sand painting, Totems. Buffalo Skull, deer skin garb/Buffalo Robe painting and more. I have done QUITE a lot of that art.)
I want to redo those columns with traditional/classic Doric or Ionic design. Never really cared for the Corinthian very much, but I might change my mind about that eventually. π And I am really hoping I can expand the width of the work, and keep the columns AND all the foreground work. It will entail adding in some more new work to get everything to fit together smoothly and correctly. I am aware of that. I think it will a lot of hard work, but it will be so fun! πβ€

So interesting, wolfie. I still don't know what is SO wrong with that piece (and I doubt anyone else can either). But I know when create something, the problems stand out to you.
That art tablet and pen looks like it might be fun, but that art program looks like the cockpit of a 747. I know you'll figure it out though with your determination.
So looking forward to new works once you figure it all out. π

LOOK AT IT! LOL!...Dio, the perspective is all off. ππ
That's just a pic of the "Krita" program I picked up online to show everyone what I was talking about.
I certainly haven't gotten that far with it yet. I managed to barely begin, got it opened to a new 'canvas', and I think I found a route to insert a piece of work from my files. That's a start. π
Honestly, the Krita is the least overwhelming for my limited tech saavy.π But I think if I get somewhere with that one, then it will make it much easier to learn the other two.
No stone will be left unturned, and every stitched shall be picked up!π
I am determined to make damn good use of every gift I have been so graciously given. To the very best of my ability.π
I'll come out with new work digitally, no worries. I just need some time.π

Lol! Just look at the roses sizes next to the 'stone statue heroes'!
The pillars/columns should be full length in FRONT of all the rest. ππ
