wolf I Going To Make Those Loaded Peppers Too Sis. They Look Really Good. Oh cool! Let me know how they turn out, and if you like my way of doing them!π
Does Araceli ever make anything like that, Diz? Does she bake any Christmas cookies with you? I know y'all cook up tacos sometime! π
Here's My Christmas Cookie Recipe that I told you about in the other thread! (I'll post it below π) I hope you like it, and might like to try it out!
Do Kyra and Angelo like to bake cookies with you? My sun always loved making these and other cookies with me. And Soda Bread! Michael likes Soda Bread, doesn't he Diz? Do you make that for him and the kids ever? π
"Christmas Almond Cookies Recipe"
Ingredients :
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup fine chopped almonds (toasted)
3 tablespoons of granulated sugar
1 stick of salted butter (room temperature soft)
vanilla & almond extracts (as little or much as you like, 1 teaspoon each recommended, I prefer 2 teaspoons of each.)
1. Dump all ingredients in bowl & mix together with hands, spoon, mixer.....whatever you like.
2. Chill dough to firm up. (about 10 or 15 minutes)
3. Form (equally sized) dough balls into long finger shapes. place on lightly greased (or parchment paper lined) baking sheet.
4. Bake cookies about 12-15 minutes in preheated 350F oven. Just keep an eye on them, all ovens cook differently.
(Optional: roll still slightly warm cookies in confectioners/powdered sugar.)
Hope you like them, lil Sis. Merry Christmas!

I tell you whut...this Cowboy Chuck Wagon Cook ain't from Texas, he's from Oklahoma and works a lot in Texas, and he's plenty much alright with me. π My Grandad used to make coffee just like this....
This is good to know....
And man, I love his set up! Here's his main camp "stove/oven", and below it, is his 'more portable rig'. (It's good to know a welder and build things like this and 'smokers' on your own.)
These vids are entertaining (I think) and are quite useful. π (Just holler if you need any translations Commander osnafrank ππ )

Looks delicious and refreshing Hey y'all! I found this Key Lime Juice at Kroger earlier today! applouse smilie_wet_162 I think this is one of the brands you've mentioned before, diobolic . π If I have time tomorrow, I'm going try out their recipe. I bet it'll be fantastic! I found a vid for it on youtube too, it's really simple. (But I am going to make my own piecrust, I don't like that much sugar in graham cracker pie crusts.)
