Here it’s the May 2-4 weekend. Called that because it’s the 3rd Monday in May, which sometimes is the 24th. Also, it’s the traditional weekend to open cottages, which requires beer. A case of beer is 24 bottles, and in Canada we call it a 2-4
Official name is Victoria Day Weekend, celebrating the queen’s birthday with fireworks. Which apparently also requires the purchase of a 2-4.
It’s also the anniversary of my husband and I meeting. We went with the “gang” of teens from my street to watch the fireworks display at The Beach.
We were at Kew Beach, not Lakeside Park....but still a great song.
