So - you did not answer my question about the Swedish meatballs kurben  You make an assumption that i have any idea how to make good meatballs. I'll be perfectly clear, i'll eat meatballs, i do not make them. I'm sure it would be horrendous if i ever tried. I buy them frozen and fry them in the fryingpan or even warm them in the micro sometimes. I'm sure the meatballs you make would be delicious, Neese, you seem to have a gift for making food. |

I never got the buzz around meatballs or Italian sausage, definitely my least favorite popular pizza/other Italian inspired food topping. There are worse niche toppings I suppose, pineapples, ranch, etc. |

Is there a difference between Köttbullar and ordinary meatballs i am unaware of?? |

Hi Dizzy, How do you like the new thread? Hope you are feeling better than before. Our weather forecast says 10 or so days with the low temperatures below freezing. I hate cold weather so guess who's water heater quit working! No hot water in the kitchen or one bathroom. Wish we could fast-forward to June. lol

Are you talking about Kottbullar or ordinary meatballs ? @kurben neesy Well, Nesse mentioned Swedish meatballs which i took to be what we call Köttbullar and can be really good if done the right way. Is there a difference between Köttbullar and ordinary meatballs i am unaware of??
From what I know, Köttbullar are made of pork mince and veal
and you add Milk to the mince.
The Veal and Milk are the only differences. |

The Veal and Milk are the only differences.Well... You obviously know a lot more about than i. I know how they should taste. I am a simple man ruled by my senses when it comes to food. Tastes good=good meatballs, Tastes bad=bad meatballs. Ingredients not important. |
