Ordered more ram today so I can get the Sims 4 to run better, once the game is loaded it seems to run fine but loading and exiting take forever, and that's usually ram related. Created a cool vampire, they allow one to buy different powers for them now as they earn vampire points to buy the powers, my vampire can do all sorts of amusing things. I also created an alien, they can disguise themselves as human now, unlike earlier games, not sure what their powers are as of yet, probably mind reading.
I've played one of the GOW games once, lots of ducking and shooting but for some odd reason, the point of view in the game, it strains my eyes and gives me a headache. There's some games I can't play because they're hard on my eyes like GOW, and Saints Row IV isn't super easy on my eyes so I have to take breaks. Think its the refresh rate on the games, since they're so fast paced the screen is refreshing a lot, which is hard to notice but the eyes will notice things that the mind doens't.

Go figure, for the first time since Sims 1, there isn't a werewolf option. They did include vampires, witches, merpeople, and some others, but no werewolves. There is a mod to add werewolves but it no longer works with updated versions of the game. I've only played The Sims Hot Date I think it was called. I didn't know that they had werewolves and other monsters in those games. But I will admit I had only heard of the one I played cause a friend had it. Do you play as mom guys or something in the Saints Row games?

Upgrading is NOT fun, and ram is the easiest thing to upgrade. But I was right, the slow existing and memory leak was due to not having enough. The game recommends only four but it eats up far more regardless. The game now exits pretty quick, and while it takes awhile for the main menu to load, it loads save games much faster now as well. Sadly, the upgrade doesn't make Lords 2 any different, loads the same as always, but it was made to run on lower end systems, Sims 4 wasn't.
Saints Row, I play as a female character at times or a male character, I have Cassie Hack as the female character and Hellboy as the male character, just depends on my mood. They got a better female actress to do the voice of the female characters, and they gave the female better dialogue, the male voice sucks and the dialogue is iffy. Gotta give them props, they gave the male character entirely different dialogue, usually they'll just change a few lines here and there in a game where you get to make your own character, but Saints Row went much further.

Well... I made Pennywise for the Sims 4 but I'm not totally happy with the face just yet but he's cool enough for right now. What's cool about the Sims is you can create them and play them or you can let them do their own thing on other lots, I have Pennywise living in a haunted house and the game controls him and has him do all sorts of amusing things since I set him as a vampire and gave him the evil trait.
The Sims 4 also got rid of Santa Clause so instead of there being Christmas, there's a holiday called Gift Season or something and this old guy does appear with gifts but he has a different name. They really went out of their way to avoid all religious stuff in the Sims 4, they didn't add witches because real witches were offended by the witches in the Sims 3, they got rid of werewolves because they attacked people, and they got rid of Santa Clause, and sexual orientation is all over the map.

In Saints Row, as Dizzy said, you start off as a gang leader but by the third game you become a reality tv star who fights criminal syndicates, and by the fourth you become the President of the US and deal with an alien who destroyed earth. Unlike GTA, it didn't stick with the gang theme and evolved, but to be fair it had a name that allowed them to do so. GTA is kind of stuck, can't have them become good guys in a game called Grand Theft Auto.
Speaking of games, I tried WWE Battlegrounds today, actually re-installed Steam, can we say oops? It was on sale for 20 and it seemed fun at first but it got boring as hell after an hour or two, so I requested and received a refund and uninstalled Steam once again.
Gotta give em props, they refunded me about three hours after I requested the refund, that's pretty quick.
Speaking of games, I need to re-install Saints Row IV, accidentally deleted it today, just being lazy.

It sounds like there will be a new Saints Row game, Volition said they're coming up with ideas for it. No clue what direction they'll go in but judging from the end of the 4th one, they will go back in time to bring back earth, the question is, how far back will they go? Will it all be going back to different periods of earth? Will it be the Saints Vs. dinosaurs and then pirates and then cowboys, or will they go back to wheen they were still a street gang or will they go back to when the leader was President and have the leader mock 45 or something like that. They always use political humor, so that is possible.
The guys who work on SR are amusing and they'll offend all sorts of people for the sake of comedy, so the 5th game can go in any possible direction, but it'll be fun regardless.

Thanks for answering my questions about the games. I have never played them before so I didn't know anything about them other than their names. Grand Theft Auto is the only one I've played and it isn't my cup of tea. I suck at driving games, I prefer playing games where I don't have to drive or pilot any vehicle. I also like Splinter Cell, Deus Ex: Human Evolution, Assassin's Creed(mainly the Ezio games). On PC, I love Duke Nukem 3D, the Star Wars Kyle Katarn games.

Meh Maybe That's Cool With You But I Can't Get into The SR Games After 2 I don't Like How They Drastically Changed It All. Not a Fan. I Like GTA because it Makes Sense to Me Not Just Random Chaos. If They Were Going to Make it Silly They Should Have Just Started Out That Way at The Beginning. No Offense to You though To Each there Own though That's Cool if You Enjoy Them. Just Not My Thing Any More.

On PC, I love Duke Nukem 3D, the Star Wars Kyle Katarn games. I'm not into driving games at all but Saints Row 3 and 4 just tinker with driving missions, they're really brief and no challenge at all, they're more about wiping out criminal gangs or evil aliens and poking fun at things. The humor isn't unlike the humor in Postal 2 or Duke 3D, kind of a cross between both. Did you know you can play Postal 2 all the way through without killing anyone? They made it that way intentionally but I never could figure out how to get through the Gary Coleman mission without killing him, I think the cops will just do it for the player if one does the right things. I tried playing State Of Decay again today, there's now a sequel I wasn't aware of, its a third person open world game that's about surviving a zombie apocalypse but you can totally customize your main base by getting supplies that let you build gyms, gardens, etc, the game does the actual building but you have to find the parts. Not a bad game whatsoever, may be one of the better zombie games but like many zombie games, it has that one flaw, running zombies. Zombies do NOT run, and only one or two zombie games on the market stick to that tradition, most of them, they can run, which is absurd. There's a mod however that disables their ability to run, and I use that mod.

I'm thinking I may give AC: Brotherhood another shot, I never finished but was enjoying it.
Scaling really high things to get to pieces of the pzuzle however only to fall, that can start to get annoying, but I've gotten better that those games thanks to Lords 2.
I still recommend Saint 4 even to those who aren't into GTA games since it really isn't a GTA game, its the President against an an alien empire and its amusing as hell. I still wanna know what they're going to do about earth being blown up, will they travel back in time to bring it back or travel space in the 5th, no one except Volition knows, and they may not be sure yet.
I say they should travel through different time periods until they get things right, kind of Back to the Future theme, and they can parody Back to the Future like they did Matrix.

I've never played them, they're owned by Nintendo I believe and Nintendo doesn't make their games for computers.
There are emulators that allow one to play Nintendo games on the PC, well older Nintendo games, but I rarely use emulators anymore.
Right now I'm giving that WWE game another shot, found a way to unlock the 80's wrestlers like Piper and Warrior, so its a bit more entertaining now. I'm just not crazy about the newer wrestlers, I grew up watching Piper, Hogan, Warrior, Jake the Snake, and Andre kick butt, so there's nostalgia there, these days the newer wrestlers, they just don't have the same "charm". Its not their fault really, the writers for WWE these days just aren't as good as the older writers.

It's been awhile since I've seen footage, and am just making sure I'm not mixing it up with Deus Ex.

Is Saints 4 a first person game? It's been awhile since I've seen footage, and am just making sure I'm not mixing it up with Deus Ex. It's entirely in third person and like Skyrim, you can totally create your own character. The game is even better if you like films like a lot 80's and 90's sci fi films because it parodies a lot of them in a respectful way, it pokes fun at Matrix, They Live, and numerous others, and Roddy Piper is in the game, and Keith David, the actor who was in They Live with Piper, and also in Platoon and The Thing, he's a secondary character in the game, you can't play as him but he's a big part of the story. So there's an entire mission that pays homage to They Live, which is cool. The 4th game has Duke Nukem 3D humor and some of the aliens remind me of the aliens in DN3D... As for Assassins Creed, Ezio was such a bad a*s but one thing I don't get, there's a two year gap between his dad and brothers execution and when he goes back to talk to Da Vinci. I don't recall them ever saying what he did for two years at his uncles place, I remember getting to the uncles place, learning some moves, assassinating the young guy, then taking off back to the uncles and then two years is gone. I must have blinked or something where it explains where that two years went. Brotherhood is pretty damn good as well, its my 2nd favorite, but after Ezio, the series just didn't do it for anymore. It has to do with the historical stuff behind it, the historical stuff during the Ezio era kept me interested, the historical stuff after, it was overly repetitive because its been used in other games.

The WWE game is starting to remind me more and more of the old WWF: Wrestlemania arcade game, just with way better graphics. That old 90's game let Undertaker fire ghosts at opponents, summon a tombstone and hit the opponents over the head, and Doink could electrocute people, etc, and so on. In this new game, Undertaker doesn't seem to shoot ghosts from his hands but the moves are very similar, when they go for a DDT, they fly about 20 feet into the air and drive the opponent into the mat, or they can toss opponents into the mouths of alligators on some levels, or tombstones on others, or control a ram that does damage.
One downer, I need to look again, but there's no way to have the Fiend turn into Bray Wyatt, his alter ego, and they didn't seem to add Bray on his own. I like both characters, Bray plays the twisted Pee Wee Herman character in the show, and then he turns into the Fiend once in awhile who is a lot like Pennywise.

This thread kind of died..
I'm still playing the Sims 4, I created an insane city where the Sims are doing all sorts of crazy but realistic stuff.
I found three mods that make the game totally realistic.
Basemental Drugs - it adds an alcohol, drug, cigarette system to where the Sims can get drunk, high, etc, and they can pay for it by getting addicted or dying, and there's even a cancer option to where they can get cancer in their old age if become alcholics or smoke too much. It also has drug busts, and the list just goes on and on. Very realistic mod...
One does need two sex related mods, Wicked Persions and Wicked Whims, for Basemental drugs to work, they just add sexual realism, and the option to have sex animations but the animations are an option, so one can stick to all the sex stuff happening under the covers or in closets like old school sims games.
I made Hellboy but he loses his tail when he goes potty, still need to do a little work on him, right now he looks like the old school Hellboy, going to make him look more like the newer Hellboy. I do plan on making a few King characters like Rose, Jack, Danny, and Cujo, can't make Christine, not in Sims 4. They got rid of cars in Sims 4, there's bikes but unlike 2 and 3, no cars.
