Go with your gut feeling Dizzy, it's usually right.  Hi there lil Sis, just saw your post. Long day yesterday, lots of walking to get to all those bus stops. But it;s done now. I do walk very day but that was about 4 times as much. My 2 parcels of fabric came in the mail today. I have never ordered fabric on line before and knew I was taking a chance. But all 3 pieces are perfect! Exactly what I had hoped for. I could get used to this ordering on line, its working out well. What are you up to today Dizzy?

That's what we call a Schnapszahl.
You ought to by a round.  I actually looked this up and it means "Schnapps number" - is that correct? I would like some peppermint schnapps (it's quite tasty in coffee)
Today I am going to clean some cupboards and hopefully get some laundry done. Th building owners of the apartment building I live in have decided to give us FREE access to the washers and dryers during the Pandemic.  Which is better than the normal 4 dollars/load. Also, they put 200 New Movie CD's on the book shelves in the laundry
room for anyone that wants them. Another thing they have done is put a cupboard in there as well for tenants who can put a few non perishable food items in for those in the building that need it. Management is also weekly going around to tenants in need and leaving 2 big shopping bags of fresh meat eggs milk and fresh fruits and veg. They give a quick knock and leave. They don't want them to be embarrassed.
Management here as never been benevolent so this was a very nice surprise for everyone.
Good for management - sometimes a crisis can bring out the best in people I sort of felt that way about "Sleeping Beauties" and I never did finish it, but I didn't mind Insomnia
Today so far I haven't done much but later I think I will try to get out of the house before I get cabin fever (I need some fresh air and sunshine!)
@notaro - how are you doing today?
Doing ok today Neesy, just back home after a 5 kilometre walk, weather is absolutely beautiful, hope all is good with you and Andy, still snowy or has the weather improved? Here it is a beautiful sunny day and my son has gone for a walk in the park.
Still a bit of snow on the ground but it is getting warmer

After some dicey weather last night, we're dealing with dodgy power service. Power was out for a few hours, and when it came back on, our breakers have been taking turns flipping off. We turn one back on and another one turns off. One for my rook keeps popping off. Hopefully, they'll get the lines sorted out soon.

Hi there lil Sis, how's your day going? Yes, I am going to make 2 Christmas Tablecloths
and matching centre pieces for me. I've made so many of these for others that I thought it was time I made a couple for me.
Dizzy there is a full size Owl up in a fir tree on this property. I hear him and have been trying to get a picture of him for 2 days. No luck so far. I'm going to keep trying though.

What you are describing is " bucking phases", and that is a problem in your panel not on the electric company's end.
The winds might have caused damage that is causing this to happen.
Just use what you have to (as far as electrical appliances and lights...etc. are concerned), nothing extra. Call the power company and (if you can get through) tell them what you are experiencing in your home
They will be able to tell you and help you more. At least they will tell you for sure if the problem is on their end of your end.

I am an electrician. I don't like or condone diagnosis over the phone or online, but you don't need to assume this problem is on the electrical suppliers end.
Don't freak out, just don't be trying to use circuits that are tripping.
Meaning: don't be flipping breakers on that are flipping themselves off.
You're going to be okay.

Today I made an Asian dish for supper called Vietnamese Caramel Pork with carrots, onions, cabbage etc. plus a nice sauce that uses dark brown sugar - it wasn't too bad!
I'm still keeping track of my calories and exercising

Hit the supermarket just after 8am, got some essentials in,also got supplies for the father in-law and dropped them down to him. Pottered around the garden and then dropped my daughter into work at 5pm, did some more garden work and now I'm sitting down with a cuppa. Later on I'll head out and collect my daughter from work. Hope everyone has a great day.
