This morning I weighed myself and was happy to see that I lost about 13 pounds.
Some of you may recall that I had a few medical issues a few weeks back and even though my Doctor said my weight was fine I figured I should drop a few pounds.
I reconfigured my workout and diet, pretty much cutting calories by close to half.
I also increased my cardio, which I will continue with for about another week to maintain a daily caloric deficit.
By then I should be where I want to be weight wise (195) and my body should be fully acclimated to the diet routine (This is harder than the physical routine).
At that point instead of lifting primarily heavy weights I will go to a more moderate weight but use a higher rep counts.
PHEW! This really makes me happy.

Thanks, creating the caloric deficit is key.
The cardio helps with this because it burns calories, and the weights build muscle which is leaner than fat.

I don't know as much about it all as you do docpain, but when I was pregnant with my sun, I put on an awful lot of weight. (About 60 lbs. It was miseable) Then after recovering from my back injury, took it off with work and adjusting diet.
BP doing better Doc? Hope so!

Yes, back injuries are horribly debilitating. I just got off the bike and showered, my bp was 91/58. My doctor has no idea why it is going so low after the bike ride, but she's ok with it.

Watched some documentaries and Stargate Atlantis. Just enjoying the calm before the storm. ......before the workmen comeback and start repairing your bathroom, and replacing the boiler? Hope you get at least a little peace this weekend, Frank. 🙂
I saw the "Stargate" movie with James Spader and Kurt Russell not too long back, I really liked that movie.

I'm making butterscotch fudge. It used to be sold at the supermarket, but they stopped selling it. Now I have to make my own.

Josh is doing okay - he just got back from a 3 hour walk in the park (Kildonan Park) - as of Friday October 30th our province is in Code Red - well I think it's the whole province, but definitely Winnipeg at least.
He did not have a problem going back at all (to work) but he's also adjusting to having more free time the past week.
Not sure why I am not posting every day like I used to - maybe I just got out of the habit.
Trying to figure out what to make for supper here. Perhaps something with eggs, cheese and bread for a change - I have a recipe for something that turns out sort of like a souffle.
We got our furnace fixed at last! Yay!
Hope everyone here is doing okay as well a200
