I just read that today is the 46th day in a row that it's been over 110 degrees here. 😩   That's crazy, right?! ( I mean the weather, not the picture.) This has been a hotter than usual summer and hardly any rain. This is supposed to be our monsoon season and all we're getting is lightning and dust storms. |

You know....I grew up in a family where ice cream was a seasonal treat . My Grandma was in charge and she only bought it in the summer. I tried to do that with my kids, but they wore me down by the time there were two of them and they out-numbered me. Now there's ice cream all year long, and usually 3 or 4 different kinds in the freezer at any given time. My Grandma is probably shaking her head and cursing from Beyond.... sommer-eis-smilie_012 |
