So that's a very interesting synopsis of a story that you should definitely write on your own. I would love to read it.
When we are talking about theme for the Halloween story, let's keep it simple. Ghost story, haunted house, small town - these things can go together. Werewolves could definitely find a home in a corner of the story. Just a simple theme for now.  |

If we were to go with a haunted house ghost story it COULD be set in an atmosphere that docpain2 is talking about. With alittle creativity and cleverness.....who knows.....he might find a way to more than acceptably incorporate what he's thinking of into the middle of the story. You never know. Reread what doyoulove said, I agree with her completely, let's let her do her job and we do ours being creative and imaginative.
You are great at all the technical details, there's no doubt about that. But quit telling us what we can and can't do. Please? 😊😘 |

Can be done of course but i think its up to the first writer how much of present problems s/he wants to include. That in its turn probably depends on what theme we will agree on. In an apocalyptic or dystopic story line idea it would fit admirable . When its a more supernatural or paranormal storyline it, as i see it, becomes a bit more difficult to build into the story. Especially since each writer only have so many words to juggle with. Just my opinion of course. But what happens in the world right now is a horror story in its own right, no doubt about that!!

You guys have posted some interesting and thought provoking ideas. No matter which basic story line you decide on seems to me each writer will take it down his/her own rabbit hole. Putting current events in story line could be a way. Of course if timeline is in the past or way in future that might not be relevant. However you decide to go I will contribute my meager offering. My idea was too scary to develop anyway. It involved a man that feels trapped inside a relationship for over a quarter of a century...oh forgot for a moment where I was. Mea culpa...

I'm not telling anyone what to do, thank you very much. I have all the time been careful about that. I said in my post it can be done but would be easier in some storyframes rather than other. Thats was my opinion, as i also said in my post, you and everyone else is free to take it or leave it. But i hope i'm allowed to utter an opinion on my and others ideas? isn't that what a discussion is all about.

Haunted House
Ghost
Small town
Werewolves
Death by Concert - possession by rock stars
House with rooms for different themes
Ghost story with Sci Fi/horror or Love/horror twist
Horror with mother locking up/abusing son
Nuclear war aftermath
Current unrest and Pandemic

Hmmm....after thinking about it some more, could we add diobolic 's phone story idea? I think it could fit together with thekidd12 's story he mentioned earlier. I like Dio's idea on that one too, as well as the haunted house/ ghost story thing. 😊

wolf Hmmm well Maybe something Really Acient that gets Woke up but idk if everyone else WillLike it but I like that idea tbh. Sort of Like IT o r Tak but NOT Copying SK Stories though. I Always Like those Kind of Entity that is Very Old Under a City or W/E or any wheres really it Facinates me if there was really something like that.
