Since it is scheduled before Christmas, A Christmas theme with positive and uplifting articles (think Readers' Digest) could be a suggestion. Almost everyone has a memory of an event that is positive around the holidays. We don't have to have blood and gore all the time.

Nice to see that people are interested.
I am merely the messenger.
This board member that pm'd is not a frequent poster, but an avid reader.
Brought the idea to me, in order to help the Playground do something different and particular to "The Playground"......without trying to compete with, or overshadow the Valued tradition of the "SKMB Halloween Story".
I personally like the idea of "The 13 Days of a Christmas Tale".....that's the kind of thing that appeals to me.
I thought a 13 part series of Vignette's centered around eerie Christmas thing might be cool.
Contributions that are relatively short....like scenes....of ANYTHING.
I think that creepy Christmas Stories can be heartwarming, scary, eerie.....fun and funny.
This is NOT my idea.It was something that someone thought of, that might be nice for the Playground and become something special down the line.
.......I am overwhelmed with work right now.
But I'm FINE. Not wanting to be a whiner or complainer here, or anything.
I've just a lot to take care of at the moment.
I was asked to bring this to Admin's and other board members attention, as something to consider.
Like I said, I thought this group here would be an excellent sounding board.
.....there's a lot of great minds here, that can come up with something that is REASONABLE and DOABLE.

I prefer not to go there.
Nothing is set for ANY time.
It's an idea that was submitted for consideration.
As I stated before, this group here, is a good panel of people of different experience and experiences to bring the discussion to.
And....AGAIN....I think that it might be unreasonable to attempt such an adventure as this, for THIS Christmas, but ......it might be good for brainstormers to start thinking about it, and working on it now.....for next year.
I am done with it.
I did what I promised to do, for the sake of the Playground and for ALL of our members having a good bonding "good time experience". 🙂
