Todd Rundgren should be in. The RRHOF should change its name to the Popular Music Hall of Fame because nearly all of the artists nominated certainly are not rock, I'm no fan of Iron Maiden but they should have been in decades ago. Ted Nugent as well, If we're talking influence on the US rock music scene, then he should have been one of the first in Was this post edited because Ted Nugent is considered inappropriate content?Best to just leave it be and not get angry over it, they’re the mods and get the final say and to be fair there is a rule against mentioning current politics here so you can’t say they didn’t have the right to. Just stop this argument before it happens please

Got Tales of Mystery and Imagination by Alan Parsons Project and Never for Ever by Kate Bush on vinyl yesterday, both 10/10 albums that I highly recommend.

Attachment DeletedRating of every hip hop album I've heard. I'm not any expert of the genre, but I've been trying to expand my taste recently and can say I am pleasantly surprised by most of what I've heard. Low End Theory is an actual masterpiece, the bass through that entire album gives a nice background to the lyrical flow.

But there are a couple I like
The Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique (an absolute masterpiece of using samples. There are so many snipets and pop culture references in this album, seems like every time I hear a song from it, I hear something new)
Dr. Dre - The Chronic (If Snoop would have been friends with Martha Stewart back in these days, maybe she could have had a cameo on this )
That's my list - 2 albums

You’ll probably like The Low End Theory by Tribe Called Quest. Again, I cannot stress enough how great the bass on the entire album is, who knew a classically trained jazz acoustic bassist could go so well with a hip hop group. Ron Carter, the bassist on the album, is most well known for his work with Miles Davis on many of his albums. So if you’re a fan of Davis albums and want to try out a hip hop album I can’t recommend Low End Theory enough.

Not really an Aerosmith or Run DMC fan. Hip Hop with Jazz instrumentals fits way better than Hip Hop with rock instrumentals, imo.
