My aunt that lives in Wash DC cut her hand the other day and thought she needed stitches. The doctor told her she couldn't come in. He gave her instructions on what to do and told her it would bleed for 3 days. Be careful while you stay home.
Prayers and healing vibes or your aunt. Watch for infection. My county still has no stay at home. Daughter goes to work, stores packed( why? the stock is so limited), traffic like any other day. Unbelievable.
Everyone, stay safe!

Our town is on orders to stay home unless you are an essential worker, you are going out for food or medication, or to get some fresh air and sunshine - but you should adhere to the 6' distance recommendation. So far, so good for us. We can handle that. Our utility company has said they will not cut anyone's power/water/gas supply during the pandemic. The town has also ordered no evictions for the duration of the pandemic. I think that's all very good.
I think all states should not cut utilities, or allow evictions during this time. And when normalcy resumes they utility companies and landlords should allow customers and tenants to resume payments, and set up payment plans for back rent and unpaid bills. I am hearing some banks are allowing a non payment of mortgages until June. However, big big catch- they will be explected to pay all back payments due plus the new month immediately.
My home is paid for, but I still have property taxes, which I held back in case extra cash was needed. No deferments- only a nice reminder of late fees!

I would like to think that the UK government will get scrutinised for their shambling handling of this situation, but they probably wont, that's not how things work in this country. Joke of a government. Now they are introducing policy to tackle it, but they're far too late, all of this should have been done weeks ago. I cant even remember if it's been 6 days or 7. My sense of time is slipping. They said they would reevaluate at 3 weeks, I'm not holding out much hope of us being allowed back to work or anywhere if I'm being honest.
The whole thing is making me lethargic. The less I do, the less I want to do. I havent plugged a guitar in for 2 or 3 days. If I pick up an acoustic or a hollow body it's back down a few minutes later.
I hope this finishes soon, I dont believe it will though. Make a new routine. Try to follow a schedule. Find something on you tube that interests you. Books, cooking, learn yoga, or mediate. Sending positive thoughts!!

But no matter what it is you do, I think it's inevitable before everyone starts to go stir-crazy, we were not meant to stay indoors for so long.

Ah yes, the banks. People with hearts of gold. How nice of them to give a couple of weeks before they expect everything paid back in full, hahahaha

Do any of you know anyone who had the virus yet? A friend's friend's sister died from it Friday morning - she lived in Atlanta - I don't know her age or what her general health was. And our very good friend's son in law has it currently - he's a fireman and he just got sick last week. Hoping and praying he beats it!
Our town is on orders to stay home unless you are an essential worker, you are going out for food or medication, or to get some fresh air and sunshine - but you should adhere to the 6' distance recommendation. I had to take one of our dogs to the vet yesterday. When I got there, I had to call from the car and tell them who I was bringing in and why - and then remain in my car. They called me when the vet was ready to see her and the vet met me at the door wearing a haz-mat suit, goggles, gloves, the works - took my dog and I had to go back to my car until she was ready - she called me on the phone for consultation, then I paid with my card over the phone to the receptionist. It was all very bizarre. But I understand. And I'm grateful they found a way to stay open during this. A few people at my university got it, but honestly they should not have travelled home, regardless of where you are, if you have this virus, stay there, I'm sure the countries will give some way. Surprise, surprise, where were they coming from? Italy. The problem is that there is a stage where you have it and can infect people, but you don't have any of the symptoms.

Hey all. This is some crazy stuff we are all going through.
We still only have 1 confirmed case here but they said they are monitoring 131 "probable positives". I don't think any of those people were tested. I don't think my county even has any. I heard lots of people were turned away from testing even with several symptoms.
Kids schools are getting set up for online learning starting a week from today. A couple teachers have already been sending out extra credit assignments in the meantime. My boys are not too stir crazy. Oldest is still getting out to work. And youngest just could care less. My daughter, the social butterfly is very stir crazy though. She and her dad took the doggies on a walk yesterday. It helped.
I am home 99% of the time so this really is not much different for me. But even I am having trouble. So many different things coming at you from the news, who knows what is true and what isn't? It is making me paranoid.
I am trying to get back to some kind of routine because I have been pretty lethargic. Cleaning house today. Going slow but it does feel good to be doing something other than watching the news.
Prayers for all, that we all stay healthy. ❤

I got this in my email from The Scotsman:

PM's chief advisor Dominic Cummings is self-isolating with Coronavirus symptoms. There are early signs that new hospital admissions due to Coronavirus could be slowing down, according to a UK Government scientific advisor.
Here are some mental health helplines and websites recommended by the NHS:

Too bad Chuck Norris wasn't around to help stitch it up while she bit a bullet
Thanks for the advice - will be careful around all the sharp knives.

I live south of the DFW area and do not know of anyone near or in my county who is sick. I have been inside 14 days now. I know I'm not sick now but don't think it would be safe to go anywhere because new cases are reported every day. So liberation doesn't matter as long as new cases keep popping up. Darn!!
