Hmmm, Quarantine, curfew, nothing good on TV. It wouldn`t surprise me, if there`s an increase in births, 9 months from now on. Or divorce as soon as the courthouses reopen.

Florida has closed restaurant dining rooms down. There can still be takeout and delivery. I've been going to restaurants for lunch every day. The restaurants already had a separation policy and no condiments or anything else on the table. The restaurants seemed safer to me than fighting for toilet paper at the grocery store. I'm not sure why takeout is safer if you are still walking a restaurant to pick up food.
My part of FL. west coast central is really lagging behind. Parking lots are full, grocery stores are packed. The big chain groceries are setting special hours for over 60- 65/ and cutting hours for re stocking and disinfecting. Daughter stopped in store last night and the stockers were literally throwing things on shelves. Bakery bread in bread aisle/ TP anywhere there was a space. available. I haven't been out in 2 weeks. Daughter continues to work.
Take out is safer as it means less contact. Not a group sitting inside close together. Please, everyone be safe. I'm still working. There are only two of us at my business and when I go out on jobs, the work is outside so I don't feel I'm exposing myself unnecessarily. I'm not sure how much more work we will have but I'm trying to squeeze whatever income I can out before there's nothing left to do. I just finished a couple of big jobs last week and I hurried up and got the invoices submitted hoping I can get paid before these companies shut down their ap departments.
I was going to get my hair cut of Friday but couldn't make it. I went yesterday and the shop had closed down. I'm going to have to find a you tube video on how to cut my hair.

That reminds me of something funny a friend of mine said after we had been without power for 2 weeks following Hurricane Frances. He said, "Julie (his wife) and I got so bored, we almost had sex."

Reminds me of Al Bundy. Soooo, they barred groups of more than 2 from gathering. Grocerie stores have limited the number of customers. Public transport is almost cancelled, one bus every 78 minutes.

Groups of more than 2 - wow - we're still at 10, last I heard. Not that anyone is really gathering anywhere - not that I've seen. Our town is like a ghost town. Except for the grocery - still people there. Hunker down - it'll pass.

Well, now we"ve gone to complete a lockdown, started at midnight last night. Only essential personel and occupations working now, a long with first responders. So my son and his dad are still working. Being electricians they can control and limit how much contact they have with people. They're roughing right now (wiring a house, new construction). The owner called them last night said they wouldn't be doing any unnecessary service calls. Just the ones to keep power up and running. They still have a lot work going on from the 9 tornados that tore through here awhile back.
No one allowed out on the streets unless it's to get food or medical assistance.
A couple of local distilleries have started to produce bottles of 75% alcohol specifically made as a sanitizer for all first responders and the medical personnel.
Restaurants are the same, dining in is closed down, but drive through and curbside pickup is still on. Everyone is told to not come out to be tested for the virus unless you are running a temp of 99.6 Clinics and hospitals have been checking people out curb service style here for awhile.
Grocery stores are maintaining. Things getting sold out quickly, but the stores are getting restocked.
Hope all that makes sense....coffee is still brewing, I haven't had any yet.

I guess a lockdown is inevitable for everywhere at some stage, grocery stores open but some now have a limit on the amount of people allowed in at any given time, my daughter's work has a 100 person limit which includes staff so only 60 or 70 shoppers allowed in at a time. Been trying to get through to my own GP since 9am, just getting an engaged signal the whole time.
