Josh will get his second shot on Monday the 5th of July at the same supersite where I got mine
We don't anticipate any problems
At the rate we are all going here in Manitoba I think they will be opening up more public places soon (I hope!)

Sounds good neesy It seems people in Osnabrück are fu***g stupid. Had a chat with the Doctor (who gave me the vaccine) and he was very happy to see me. He told me that many people made an appointment, but then never showed up.
So far (32 hours after the first shot) no side effects.

In New Hampshire, 842,650 people or 61% of the state has received at least one dose.
Overall, 755,497 people or 55% of New Hampshire's population has been fully vaccinated
Our State run vaccine sites have now been closed. People who haven't been vaccinated yet can go to a pharmacy or a doctor going forward.

My youngest was able to book his second shot for July 1. When he arrived he got in trouble for booking 1 hour before his 28 days was up. 🤨 They told him to leave and come back in an hour. So he did. When he returned he got in trouble for being an hour late. 🤬
This is the guy who faints when he gets needles. And he was already additionally stressed because his first was Pfizer and he couldn’t get that, so was getting Moderna. (All Pfizer shots here are going to teens.)
You know how when getting on a plane you don’t dare disagree with a stewardess (are they still called that?) or police will be called and you will be removed? Vaccine sites are a bit like that. So many people are being abusive (mostly verbal) to staff because they want Pfizer, not Moderna. But, you know before you go which you are getting. So anyway, poor DS, who is always polite, felt he had to just “take their sh*t”.

How's he feeling now? Josh got his second shot yesterday and today his arm is a bit sore. He said it was sore last night and it was hard to sleep
He's had some acetaminophen now so hopefully that will help

neesy, he had one bad day, then fine. His partner went in on Sunday to get their second shot. No drama. They had one bad day of feeling sick and a headache. But they said no migraine, so considered it a win.

We have a QR code on our phones (except for Andy - he has to wait until July 29th to apply) plus they will be mailing vaccination cards, but it takes about two weeks to get one in the mail
Turns out we have an agreement with North Dakota too - I just found this online:
"Manitoba Reaches COVID-19 Immunization Milestone with 1,000 MB Truck Drivers Vaccinated in North Dakota"
I guess this happened back in May but I didn't hear about it until today

Apparently Ontario tested out an on-line vaxx passport and has one ready to go. However, our premier says no…he doesn’t want this separation of citizens. (Wants to kill us all equally? Or maybe his pretty little anti-vaxx daughters said it will cramp their style.)

He says he will just have to have a Covid test then quarantine himself for however long it takes.
Not sure why someone would choose to skip the second shot, but at least he got one!

I struggled trying to talk my mom into getting her second shot. She's almost 80 years old and I was concerned that she wouldn't get the second shot. It took over 3 months but she finally got it last week after Florida has become the hotspot for the Delta strain.

It might be the wait time. Over here, especially for people of my own age group, it takes AGES to get the second shot for some reason. Although, I'm sure things are more efficient over there, it can't get any worse over here, really.

I've been hearing that a lot of that's going on over there.

Its going to cause more friction, and God knows the world has got enough of that.

Weirdly, over here we don't know which vaccine we're getting until we show up. I didn't know I was getting the Pfizer vaccine until I was about to get it.
