Same as Pfizer and Moderna? Must be I guess. Hope you don't get any rough side effects, from the first or second shots! (((((Frank))))) Thanks wolfie. Yap, it's Biontech/Pfizer. That's probably the same one as me. It said on my vaccine booklet that it was produced in Frankfurt.

I struggled trying to talk my mom into getting her second shot. She's almost 80 years old and I was concerned that she wouldn't get the second shot. It took over 3 months but she finally got it last week after Florida has become the hotspot for the Delta strain. Did your Mom get an appointment, Joe, or did she have to wait in line? I've been hearing that a lot of that's going on over there. She walked right in. There are no lines in Florida that I know of. There is a large grocery store chain (Publix) and a couple of large drug store chains giving vaccinations and there are plenty of doses.

The lines are probably from when they first opened the vaccination places. Heck, at this rate I'd be better of flying over there to get the vaccine. It would still probably be quicker than the NHS.

Apparently, the US has millions of doses that are going to expire soon. I wish we could give them to Canada or Mexico (since they are so close to us) but for some strange reason I don't understand, we can't.

Russia has been really good with distributing their Sputnik vaccine to places which don't have any, like Africa and India for example. They've been doing the same for the countries around them that have been struggling as well, I remember reading a story that they did wonders in Slovenia, for example. I don't know why the US doesn't do the same. Its really strange.

I don’t think Canada has a shortage at the moment but yeah I see what you mean - there are places in the world where a vaccination is hard to get

edwardjohn originally here you knew if it was AZ because only certain age groups were allowed it. If it was MRNA you found out which when you got there. But, people started refusing them, and even getting abusive to the people working the clinics. Now, when you book in advance you don’t know what’s there. And if they have limited supply of Pfizer it is kept for teens, and adults can only get Moderna.

We have enough up here now according to the news. (And since everyone I know is able to move up 2nd dose shots, I believe it.)

Got my second shot an hour ago. Yay! Good for you
Yesterday I had my first public 'unmasking' experience. I carried my mask with me but whenever I went inside a business or shop I asked first if they wanted me to wear it. They all said "it's up to you" plus I explained I had already had both shots.
It felt a bit weird after over a year of having to wear a mask indoors

31 Hours since my second shot, without any side effects. Ok, i've to wait 13 days but i'm glad i don't need a rapid Covid Test after these 13 days.
Tests are still for free but this ends in October.
