DH & I got our second shots. When AZ was made available for our age group we immediately signed up. Then âtheyâ decided that although the risk of blood clot was less that half as risky with second shotâŚthey werenât giving it.
That caused an issue between DH & I because I was not willing to mix & match. Then they had all these about to expire AZ and at the last minute sent them to pharmacies. We got in that weekend.
A highschool friend drove from Toronto to Kingston (about 3-4 hours highway drive) to get her second shot. I got my SIL an appointment where we got ours, so she could get her second shot. Vaccine roll-out in Ontario is such a mess. What we have been told and I am hoping it is true is that both vaccines are mRNA
So apparently the Pfizer and the Moderna are interchangeable
I will let you know if a horn starts growing out of my head or I start to get insatiable sexual appetites, even though I am technically 'elderly'  [this is a dumb joke I made yesterday when a woman at the vaccine site asked me how I was feeling)
I guess it's too late to cry now but I do feel a bit like a lab rat or a guinea pig 
By the way it is the AstraZeneca that was causing blood clots, not the Moderna or the Pfizer

My youngest and his partner moved the date for their second shots up and are getting it done this week.
My oldest and his wife also moved their dates for second shots up, I think next week. (His original date was September.)
Just waiting to hear about middle sonâŚ.whoâs job puts him at highest risk because, among other things, people spit on him.

neesy I wouldnât have been nervous about mixing Moderna & Pfizer. They are both MRNA. But AZ is something different. And it seems to me, the âexpertsâ here say whatever they have stock of is the right shot to take. I understand that the difference between science and religion is, when science is presented with new evidence it may change. But here, itâs constantly flip-flopping back and forth like a fish out of water.

....but now my left arm has suddenly fallen off  - lol - I'm still doing okay (just trying to be funny)
- I must have got a bit of energy eventually from it because we just 'ransacked' the kitchen, gave it a good cleaning and discarded an old portable dishwasher that no longer works - I found this out when I tried to run a load through it for a laugh and just about flooded the place 
Eventually we should have almost 80 - 90 % vaccinated here I guess (the Mennonites are resisting the science)
