I’m not sure I’m ever giving up masks in stores. I have enjoyed not even catching a cold for the last year & a half. I have also enjoyed....stores regularly cleaning carts and baskets. I didn't hear of any flu this year so the masks seem effective for that. We will probably see people wearing them in the stores during flu season. I've noticed people wearing them in Japan even before covid.

I was looking for King Masks but didn't find anything nice.
Where did you get yours ?
I'm still wearing my 49ers mask, so i don't mind wearing mine either. |

- mine just have a leopard print, or I have one with green apples and another with the breast cancer ribbon pattern on it; I have a camouflage one as well

One of my son’s faints. He was diagnosed with Vasovagal syncope....which basically means, he faints. One thing that causes it in him is needles. He’s not actually afraid of needles...I mean, getting his eyes tested also makes him faint.
Anyway, I had seen a picture taken at one of the large vaccination centres in the city, saying to advise if you are anxious of needles. I sent him the picture....my subtle way of telling him to let them know.
He got his shot yesterday. They let him lay down on a bed, and they also allowed him to have a support person stay with him, even though they were not getting vaccinated at the same time.

I have so many differnt masks. Lol. I have noticed places having buy one or buy two get one free or get two free, I also went to a few conveience stores and all they have is disposable. I am not shure what i am going to do with all of my masks.. i may create some sort of covid picture or something, or some sprt of craft. I may also keep a few for when I clean or if its windy and do not whant a face full of dirt.. or during flue season. I am womdering if any museums may want some for future reasons |

Once we get our second shot we have to wait two weeks, then apply for an ID card that indicates we've been fully vaccinated (that's according to our provincial premier)

I don't know if Ms.M (who I think is marshad , here on the Playground) has ever been into quilting or not.
BUT our lepplady sure is!
Maybe she would one day entertain that great idea.

Here's a scary pic - not trying to upset anyone but it's interesting how much vapour actually comes out of our mouths just from breathing 
Now that I look at this I am pretty sure it's just an artist's rendition of how a mask helps to protect ourselves and others (I feel so much better after taking it off, as I feel sometimes like I cannot breathe with it on)

I get my second shot on June 22nd at 2:20 - it's not the Pfizer however - my first shot was a Pfizer. Apparently they have run out and are now offering the Moderna vaccine
Not sure what difference it makes in brand name - just hope I don't have an adverse reaction!

I just got time for my second shot of the vaccine!! 28,th of june. And i get the same kind of vaccine too. Pfizer.

DH & I got our second shots. When AZ was made available for our age group we immediately signed up. Then “they” decided that although the risk of blood clot was less that half as risky with second shot…they weren’t giving it.
That caused an issue between DH & I because I was not willing to mix & match. Then they had all these about to expire AZ and at the last minute sent them to pharmacies. We got in that weekend.
A highschool friend drove from Toronto to Kingston (about 3-4 hours highway drive) to get her second shot. I got my SIL an appointment where we got ours, so she could get her second shot. Vaccine roll-out in Ontario is such a mess.

I had my 1st dose 27th of May, only side effect was tenderness in the arm for about 2 days. I had the Pfizer vaccine. The roll out seems to have been quite decent here, they're working down the age groups, when it was my age group's turn I got a letter inviting me to book a vaccine, you enter your details on the website and it offers a list of vaccination centres to choose from, the closest to me at the time was about 4.5 miles on bus (just over 2 as the crow flies), but there are other centres closer, just depends on how fully booked they get.
I don't know if you can choose which one you get, I just turned up and she said we're using Pfizer, a.z isn't given to under 40s apparently.
My next jab is 13th of August.
