I was a bit worried but after Andy had his recently I saw that he had no side effects at all, so I hope I end up feeling the same

You will do fine. Not alot to worry about. It went smoother than I expected. Thanks - I think it's hearing about Astrazeneca and blood clot side effects. I had a DVT in my lower leg at one time but since I am getting the Pfizer vaccine I should be okay

It was a challenge, but we got our second shot today.
My sister-in-law is having a harder time. The pharmacy she got her first AZ is not giving second shots. The government said arrangements are made for people in that situation.....but apparently the arrangements are secret.

Update.
Ontario was giving out AstraZeneca, then they decided not to give it, then they decided they’d use stock for 2nd shots. But it’s been a mess trying to figure out who has some and book an appointment.
When I was filling out the paperwork at the pharmacy I was chatting with the assistant. They got a small supply Friday and has called us in the evening. Then Saturday they got another supply. It listed June 1 as the expiry date. So they were calling people til midnight booking appointments. They did not want a single shot thrown out.
Then they found out, Saturday’s supply was tested and approved to end of June. Really...would have been nice to give them that info, eh?
So, I asked if they booked all appointments. I explained my sister-in-laws predicament, including that she lives with her 90 year old mother. The assistant said tell her to call and get on the wait list. If there were any no-shows or cancelations she might get in. A few hours later, sil let me know she has an appointment tomorrow.
It shouldn’t be this difficult. But it took until About late Feb to get our flu shots....

Here in Pennsylvania if we are fully vaccinated we can go maskless in stores and public venues.
So the other day I had to run to the store for my wife, I walked in and I heard some old guy say 'look at the f'er', lol, so to save him from an aneurysm I just put it on.

I’m not sure I’m ever giving up masks in stores. I have enjoyed not even catching a cold for the last year & a half.
I have also enjoyed....stores regularly cleaning carts and baskets.

I didn't hear of any flu this year so the masks seem effective for that. We will probably see people wearing them in the stores during flu season. I've noticed people wearing them in Japan even before covid.

The flu season of 20/21 was almost completely cancelled.
Almost half of people in Germany want to continue wearing masks
to protect against disease even after the pandemic ends. |
