We are pretty much back to normal here. The only thing we can't seem to completely kick is the fatigue. Tired all the time.
Hubby went back to work last Tues. He was done with quarantine on the 28th but then had regular scheduled days off before going back. Kids went back to school on the 2nd. So other than the being tired part, we're all recovered.
Thanks for all the well wishes! ❤

The numbers across the board are going up, here in Pennsylvania we are up 10% over the past seven days.

When I said "here" I meant in my household. 😉 We are seeing it explode in Wyoming and our town too. Still, most people are recovering. Not to downplay it, after having it, I can see how it is serious for people with other conditions. But I think a lock down is not the way to go. Just my opinion.

Whoa, you guys are up 27%, but the mortality rate is very (thankfully).

Hope the fatigue abates soon.

Shield those with conditions, wear masks, distance, but no more lockdowns. The economy, everywhere won't recover. Another lockdown will create a depression which will make the Wall Street crash seem like kid stuff.

That's the nature of the disease, it doesn't have massive fatality rates. But imagine if there is a disease in the future which does, and the that is dealt with the same way COVID was dealt with, God save us all.

Great to know you are doing better. Hopefully you will be back to normal soon. Did you go to hospital for it? And if so, were you offered Regeneron? Its meant to be a great therapeutic.

I'm very hopeful.

Great to know you are doing better. Hopefully you will be back to normal soon. Did you go to hospital for it? And if so, were you offered Regeneron? Its meant to be a great therapeutic. Nope. Never saw a Dr. Neither my husband or myself. My husband was exposed at work. They sent him home to wait for the co-workers test results. It was positive. So our local health dept called my husband. Told him he did not have to test but he could if he wanted to, but even if he did not test, he was quarantined for 10 days. He wanted to test, but it was another 3 days before he could test and when he took the test, he was still not showing any symptoms. But that evening he got a fever. So we weren't surprised when his test came back positive a couple days later. At that point his 10 days of quarantine reset from the date of his test. I came down with my fever 24 hrs later. My husband's stayed around 100, so not bad. Mine got to 102.9 the first night, then stayed around 100. Fever lasted 3-4 days but was manageable with Tylenol. Neither of us had respiratory symptoms at all. We both had body aches, which were pretty terrible. And we both lost our taste/smell. It didn't just go away, but made everything we ate just taste like garbage. Everything. Liquid, solid, it all tasted so so bad. And the fatigue was pretty bad, and that is hanging on, but getting better. Neither of us had anything that needed any kind of medical attention. We were both way sicker at the beginning of the year, and both of us to the Dr several times then. This was nothing compared to whatever we had then. We both got different diagnoses then, he was told walking pneumonia and I was told bronchitis and possible asthma. And, just as a side note, we did inform our health dept when I also got sick. They again said I did not have to test unless I wanted to. I did not. But I know I was counted positive in the count anyway. Plus our two kids at home. They were able to go to school and I was able to go out those first few days (but not my husband) until his test came back positive but as soon as that happened, we were all quarantined. His ended the 28th of Oct, mine and kids the 29th. The kids both had a mild sore throat for between 6-10 hrs for one day. I don't know if that was the virus and their only symptoms because they are young and healthy or if it was a coincidence. But other than that, they did not get sick at all. So that was our experience. Again, I do not mean to downplay it. You definitely know you are sick, but it was pretty mild. We are fortunate, we are getting up there in the middle age range 😄 and I do have other health conditions. So, I think we were lucky to have mild cases.

Great to know you are doing better than what you were. It seems like, because of a child's immune system, they pretty much deal with it.

This is kind of off topic but I was surprised when I read this and just thought of the similarity with covid that so many people get it but are not affected and others die from it with older people being very vunerable.
I was reading an article about polio and what I learned that I didn't realize is that the majority of people that got polio recovered within a week or had no symptoms. Children were the group that was particularly vulnerable. I didn't realize so many people got polio and recovered.

Screw ALL of these diseases. That is weird, would not have thought that polio and COVID would have things in common.
